Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to grow in accounts sector that's why I chose baf. Another reason for choosing this course because I will be starting professional course from my 2nd year cfa. All the teachers for my course are amazing. They teach us so well that we just go through everything one day before exam and score great marks.

Internships Opportunities

1

During our vacation periods college provides internship opportunities. Internship helps a student to generate a side income and also to understand that what is going to happen in the corporate world in future. All the internships are very helpful for each student. These internship pays us for our walk and gives us experience letter, letter of recommendation, etc which will helpful for us in future jobs.

Placement Experience

1

We get placements after our complete 3years graduation. But the internship opportunities gets started after our 1st year only. During our vacation we can do the internship. As I am in my first year all I know is HR provides great placements as HR has ranked first college in Mumbai. Hr is very well-known and have brilliant students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently pursuing Bachelor's Of Accounting And Finance. I am in my first year. My first year baf course fees is 40,376 per year. All the other fees like lab fees, exam fees is included in my yearly fee. The registration fees was 100rs.

Campus Life

Our college has many fests back to back. There are around 30clubs in our college. Each club have their own team members, hod's and ahod's. All the events have great involvement of students. All the fests are conducted properly. The library has large number of books of all the courses to study. Each Classrooms have min 4 ac's. Our classroom have touchscreen boards for better understanding of the topic. All the sport activities are done on the ground near our college. Every classroom has an athlete in HR College. The club involvement has helped me alot in my communication skills, increased my activeness, made new friends.

Admission

I've done my 11th & 12th in the college in which I am pursuing baf degree course. First of all HR College is best in studies. All the teachers are very professional. The activities our college conducts for our improvement in respect of our course are very helpful for us. I got admission in other colleges too but HR was my first priority always. The admission process was very easy we just have to fill online form of hsnc university. The cut off for my course was 80% for Sindhi quota and for other quotas was above 85%

Faculty

4

The faculty is very engaging. There's never an problem of anything. No miscommunication happens. All the staff members are very polite and helpful. All the information is given is prior via what'sapp groups by our CR's. There are overall 6semesters. 2semesters for each year. Exams are easy for those students who are highly attentive in the lectures. Once they understood the concept it's very simple for them. Very less number of students fail in the exam.

Night Life

5

There's a gym in our college itself on the 5th floor. Our college has a huge library where there is pin drop silence so that every student can study in a peaceful mind. Hostel timings near my college are very good for outsiders. The hostel gates are strictly closed at 10PM. Noone can come inside or go outside of the hostel. The most famous spot to hangout with your friends is Marine drive which is just 5min walking from my college. After lectures to have some fun one can surely go to Marine drive. Marine drive is a sea which have big stones and just by sitting there you can feel the chill vibes. Another go to spot is raju Frankie which is opposite of my college. It serves delicious food which a student would love to eat. One spot is rustom ice-cream. This is an very old ice-cream shop which gives ice-cream in a sandwich manner. The locality is very safe near my college. There are many cctv cameras and also police is there at the night time. One can enjoy the nightlife of Mumbai greatly

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing this college or any other college for that matter should do is host people from different walks of life and ask them to brief the students about whatever great things they know. You should also prepare your students for different life skills. A webinar on how to budget properly, how to invest, how to survive in a jungle etc. The practicals that were given to us held very less value in my opinon. It seemed as if we are just doing the practicals for the sake of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.

Many top firms recruit students from PGCL. Though our college is relatively new, it has been able to provide decent internships and job placements for students. In the 2018-2019 batch, the highest salary package offered was 13.5 LPA. However, for good placements, students also have to make efforts. The placement committee is overall very proactive Due to the pandemic, for the 2020-2021 batch not as many companies could visit as last to last year. Out of eligible only 55% students were placed. However, the maximum package offered increased
