Course Curriculum Overview

2

In 2015-2019 time period the mechanical stream is at its peak and deamnd for mechanocal is more. Jobs are also there that is the reason behind my choice. Actually the engineering in mechanical stream will give more theoretical knowledge anout the mechanical things but the less practical knowledge. The practical knowledge is very important in real time world. So they should train students practically rather than theoretically. Mechanical design knowlege also should given by the faculty is very important. As our exans are conduct under VTU exams are medium or tough type. Many questions are not related to syllabus. Exam checking is also not dene correcty. If we failed in subject we have apply for recheck by paying 400 rupees then that subject wil get passed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees 59,000 rs. overall which divide in different ways. (It also increases yearly as different charges] 50,000 as KEA seat fees which is fixed by the government. Remaining 7,000 to 9,000 includes Tution fees, registration fees, admission fees, develoment fees, lab fees and other charges during the course. Rather tahn these fees we have to pay extra fees like exam fees, event fees, bluebook fees, Rechecking fees and etc. SNQ quota students fees is only 3000 rs. Different state students who are not from karnataka or who did not written CET they used to charge 60,000rs to 80,000 rs as college fees and it changes from branch to brach. Which branch has more demand the fee is more ,which branch has less demand fee is less. Scholarship facility is also available from the government which is 16,000 rupees to 18,000 rupees for general merit students .which is availableo only if you are eligible. If student failed in more than 4 subjects or dropped an year that student is not eligible for scholarship. SC,ST and other backward class students used to get 55,000 rupees as scholarship. The students who belongs to minority community they used to payed by government 60,000 rupees to 80,0000 rupees as scholarship.

Campus Life

2

Campus life is full with enjoy and good vibes we make with our friends. Annually they used to oraganise one event for all the departments called OJAS which is held in the month or may or june. Which is an event of 3 days in which includes many fashion shows, singing and dancing competition, and few technical competitions and also fun events. For mechanical department one another event was there I dont remember the name in which many mechanical releted projects exhibited practically. All the subject related books were available in the library any time in college hours and digital library facility is also there which is accessible to all the students. Technically the classrooms are not upto mark compare other colleges. In technical part the classrooms are old type due to lack of facilities. In sports and extra other curricular activities college should improve alot for this generation students will not accept such boring campus. None of the student is running social groups, clubs or student portals which is very important now a days for students to be united and to raise their voice towars cons in the campus or in the class.

Admission

The main reason to persue mechanical engineering in this college is few of my seniors are suggested me this college as the faculties of mechanical stream are good in teaching and mire approachable. Compare to other colleges the students of this college will never get placements in college because placement faculties will not put their effort towards students placements. So after graduation none of the students get job or internship after the graduation by this college. Comparatively other colleges this college is lagging behind in cultural and social activities due to faculty will not give any permission to organise cultural events. As lack of suppot towards carricular activities never ever any college or department event will not happen succesfully also they will not celebrate regional events like kannada rajyotsava or kannada habba. As my CET ranking is arount 40000 I got this college which has good faculty in mechanical stream compare to other colleges. Admission process is not that complex any student who completed PUC can do it easily. After once getting seat confirmed remaining process is easy. "As I know in present situation whole mechanical faculties changed. Senior lecturers are not there. They are replaced by non experienced faculty. So while taking admission check with seniors or other known people."

Faculty

4

The faculty is very friendly and available always. The ratio of faculty-to-student is good. The relationship between faculty to student is very good . The faculties are very much approachable. In 2015-2019 time period 2 semesters were there in a year and end of the semester 8 exams are there including labs conducted by VTU board. Every semester 3 internal exams werw there conducted by the faculties.

Night Life

2

Near by college except college canteen nothing is there to hangout and other activities. As the college is 18 kilemeters away from the Belagavi city students will not get any hangout spots near by college. If you want anything you shouldget a bus and have to go to city thats it. Boys hostel is well maintained but the food is not that good and electricity problems also we faced at that time while studying.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
