Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very free. We only have 4 days classes in a week and also 2 half days in first year. Even in the second sem it is the same. In third sem we have 3 labs and 5 theories. Fourth sem was horrible i say.
Internships Opportunities
I never had an internship. But I am doing one internship where in the first month i had to learn the topics and in the next month i have to do 2 projects where the first one is minor and second one is major.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good here. The college average package is 14 lakhs and our branch average is 18 lakhs. Everyone of our seniors for placed last year with good packages. But only problem is we can get only one placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise we have to pay around 2 lakhs.and for each semester it is 1 lakh.20 thousand is mess fee and 60 thousand is tution fee.and remaining 20 thousand is divided into medicalfee and institute development fee.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is so good. The area 80 clubs in nit Rourkela. Most of them are active but some of them are dead. I am in a coding club. It is good. We had a hackathon and we won a prize. The transition was samagam.
Admission
I kept choice filling just like the way my relative suggested me. Where this is the top nit. With my rank i can only get this nit but now any other 2 tier iits.so whatever happens I would say this the best college ever.
Faculty
Every branch will be having a facad here. For any doubts we can ask him.And the teachers respond to our messages and also cacels classes and labs whenever we want. But some teachers are not good they won't see give good grades.
Night Life
We are allowed only upto 12. We can enjoy our birthday cake cuts only upto 12,30. after that securities will come and ask us to go to hostels. They have power to send us backlogs. The securities here are so powerful.
