Likes

Faculties are very supportive , understanding and very smart.
College ground is big enough for outdoor games and best NCC coaches and mates.
Seniors are very helpful and always support me.

Dislikes

Our college is not in good area, infrastructure is not impressive. Students come very less due to this.
College seats are very dirty and in bad condition like windows, boards.
Additional subject teachers are not very focused, they take it very lightly and take very less classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

Best faculty that teach us how to dive into top companies and MNCs . Real world examples like workshops and ainternship programs teach more. Very less use of smart boards andother digital things for teaching methods. Some subject syllabus left that they teach online and difficulty is high if you not self studied

Internships Opportunities

Our society like placement cell and e-commerce cell provide internships and also help students to face real world difficulties. As I am in 1st semester so I didn't bothered about it more but internships are stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees for Bcom (Hons) at Dr bhim rao ambedkar college (Delhi University) is ?15390.Minimum fees for semester Exams ?400 and additional subects ?200 . That's it no more expenses on college. Fees structure for semester examination is same for all candidates .

Campus Life

All festivals and rituals are celebrated happily by cultural society. The library is big enough for our course related books mainly books are hindi and english literature. Smart boards are available but facultu didn't use it and computer class is free for everyone, anyone can come and practice it. Sports like football, volleyball, basketball, cricket are regular games and NCC also. Any student can run and establish society or be a part of it like my friends started Chitrayana Society (The Anime Society).

Admission

It's not my dream college I get it because my preference is very disorganised and when Update came I accidentally give this college rank4 so my cuet score is mre than this clg but it is alloted in my first round and I have no option left. Other colleges that is in my prefernce are SRCC, Hansraj, Hindu clg. Admission process is through cuet exam and min score for obc canditate is 540

Faculty

Faculities are very supportive and give 100% to teach us. They treat you very calmly and always motivate us towards study. For me Mahadev Meena sir is best for Financial accounting subject, he never skip a day always ready to teach us and also give us time to understand and also Simona Dutta mam who teach us MPA and Seema Sodhi mam of Business law all are very best teachers. One additional subject teacher that I don't like because he never takes classes. Internal assessment are conducted for 20 marks and from our courses and very easy. No one failed it bcoz it's very easy. It is helpful for our further exams so it is relevant.

Night Life

After evening our college will close because there is no evening shift . Small indoor gym is there only for sports student. And outdoor exercise setup is there like in gardens. PGs are available near to college. Majnu ka Tila is famous spot to roam around at night .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Overview of my College.

I applied for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and central university of Rajasthan(CURAJ) other than delhi university. I got confirmed admissions in all these three universities but I chose to continue with delhi university and Hansraj College. I didn't got any rejectiona from any toher collegea and universities that I applied for. So it's a good thing. The admission process to get in here is as follows:- 1) Clear the cutoff for you course and university by giving the CUET-UG exams for undergraduate courses. 2) Go into the counselling process and select your desired courses and college or university. 3) Depending on your socre that you obtained in CUET UG exam you will be allotted the college and course. If you wish to change you can opt for the counselling in the other rounds as well. As there are multiple rounds of counselling are conducted.
