Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course are well designed and made for real life problems. Job oriented courses where student learn how to apply their knowledge practically. The curriculum is very flexible too, they do take feedback and adjust it accordingly. They don't have semester system, instead they have a 15 day sprint which includes 2 or 3 projects. Evaluations are done based on 6 criteria like mock interview, presentation, written exam, online submission, etc.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities are good. Mentors are there to guide to personally. You make projects in each of your sprint so at the end of the year you have so many projects to add in your portfolio which is really great for internship opportunities. We also work under our own professors as interns for internship expericence in 2nd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly: 7,00,000 (3.5 lakh/sem) Hostel fees: 2,50,000/- Admission: 80,000/- Most of the students have similar fees structure. It may differ for upcoming students based on category or merit. Fee structure is quite decent compared to other colleges in bangalore.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is pretty decent. The campus is really small. Available sports are football, cricket, volleyball and basketball. There's also a small gym and a table tennis setup. They do celebrate festivals but there is a room for improvement in that. There are clubs and groups for different categories like dance, music, fashion, etc. classrooms are really great and well maintained (cleaned everyday).

Admission

Admission process is simple. You just have to take a simple interview and complete one hackathon question. I chose this college because of its unique and job oriented curriculum, project based learning. And you don't have to write notes and all, Only have to submit your work online on a website. The best part is that it is a STEM liberal system which allows you to join this college irrespective of your background (Science / commerce / humanities). Any student can join this college.

Faculty

4

Faculty is really good and friendly. All are trained professionals and excellent teachers. They are very much approachable. There are not many written exams so no pressure but there are other types of evaluations which are graded.

Interview Experience

4

Admission is really simlple. Just few simple interview questions and a hackathon test question. Questions were mostly related to general personality questions and few mental ability questions. Depending on the result, you get fee concession. Interview was only mostly about yourself, your ambition, talents, etc. I didn't prepare for these rounds, they are very easy to crack.

Night Life

3

There's nothing much to do at night in college. cafeteria closes around 5 or 6. Gym is pretty small so I don't think it should be considered. Hostel life is also good except the food. Overall college life is simple not too good or bad.

I would give complete 100 marks for my course. As the artificial intelligence is trending and most used now, the scope for my course has been increased rapidly. This was one of the reason why I opted for this course. We will be given three internal exams in one semester and two internal lab exams in one semester. We are continously involved in workshops ans seminars to gain knowledge on real world applications along with our academics.
