Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is 100% related to field it gives us the core knowledge about the field and builds a strong base from an early stage which applicable in real world problems which prepares you for the upcoming challenges The areasto improve is to bring more advanced technology for study purpose as sometimes it feels we are lacking resources some where in our college Exams are conducted after every 2 months and are a bit difficult to get marks

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship opportunities in our college is less compared to other college and mostly are to give experience and free of cost without any salary . You can gain good experience from their and it starts from 3 or 4 year in our college and those year your study workload is also reduced so you can focus on this

Placement Experience

3

From 4 sem students get eligible for college campus placement where an avg package for CE department is 2.5 lpa and highest is 9 lpa and the companies visiting here are also good like TCS, Infosys, Accenture etc. And students getting placed is almost 60% as many students prefer off campus placements My plan after getting degree is to appear for gate and pursue master's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees which I pay starts from 130000 per year as their is management quota from college where you take admission from management the same fees is applicable for general category then their is fees for OBC which is 80000 and then for SC/ ST their fees is very less like somewhere between 30-50k per year

Campus Life

3

Yes I am grateful for having a wonderful campus life, focusing on on social aspects and the good infrastructure provided There are technical events like technex , techfests in our college annually which are after every 4-5 months and some last for 1day to a month like technex preparation The range of books available in Library is sufficient for the students and are easily available and accessible for students Faculty and technological provisions are also good The sports and over view of sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus are also good specially in cricket they are wise and honest in their work

Admission

I choosed this college for its study environment and good disciplined culture over other colleges which are more focused on organizing events rather to focus on studies I applied for admission in Ycce where due to my mht cet score I was eligible for admission then symbiosis pune /nagpur for which I gave siteee and got selected for admission were it was to expensive and not worthit for the fees paid and same goes for RBU (ramdeo baba university) for which I gave RUBEE as entrance fees but at last it's fees structure was also too high and not worthit so I decided to get admission in St. Vincent Pallotti college of Engineering and Technology.Nagpur.

Faculty

4

Relationship between faculty and students is good they are helpful whenever asked I liked the whole faculty atish gour sir, Nilesh korse sir, Sandhya dhage ma'am,kavita meshram ma'am, Manish jachak sir. They have always helped me in academics whenever needed Their are 2 exams in one semester ,mid sem and end sem mid sem is quite easier than end semester exam

Interview Experience

1

I didn't had to face any sort of Group Discussion, interview or written test for the admission it was based on my mhtcet results and jee results and boards I got my admission through cap round for which I had to wait for a month and had to go through josa college counseling

Night Life

3

So the study ends at 4:15 pm after that localites move back to their home and hostelers in hostels where they can access the multi facility area and ground for plying sports and the hostel gate closes at 9 pm to 10 pm no one if allowed to go outside after 10 but you can use homepass to remain outside for a whole night. Yes within the college boundary you are safe to hangout but as our college is situated in forest area so you can't hangout out college area it can be dangerous

Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
