Course Curriculum Overview

3

This course's curriculum is problem solving based which is why I choose it and as a computer lover it teaches me a lot about computers. The areas for improvement in this course that I would like to suggest are the removal of disciplines that are not very relevant, such as chemistry or physics. The timing of mid and end sems are really odd like they always take these exams during festivals and we can't really enjoy it due to studies. Semester tests are on a moderate level, and personally me studying 2 week before test work out.

Internships Opportunities

3

Therer are many companies that comes to our college like accenture, TCS, infosys etc . The companies offers internships in areas like software develpment, cybersecurity, cloud computing, business consulting, and artificial intelligence.

Placement Experience

3

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees that I pay are 77400 rupees. Tuition fees : 55,000 Registration fees : 1000 rupees Development fees : 16,500 rupees Prospectus fees : 1000 which are non re-fundable for other categories like open they have to pay year wise fees of 132400 rupees .

Campus Life

4

My college is quite ethnicallly diverse and in terest in cultural and yearly festivals organized by them. There is a festival called technex and insight that is held in January. 2nd year senior organises competiton like hackthons, cipher and many more these are held in november. The library in my college is located at ground floor and the right side while entering B-block. For sports college has ground where many sports like football, cricket are played and on the same ground there is vollyball section at the corner and It also has basketball court avaialble .

Admission

The reason I chose this college was because of the percentile I score iin MHT-CET and i couldn't get a seat in another college because of my low percentile. and tthey had a high percentile cutoff to get a seat in that particular branch of another college . What went wrong was my percentile because I could have scored more and there were serval factors such as if I had chosen college outside of my city the hostel and mess fees would have add up causeing my parents to pay more fees than they could afford . The admission process of my college was simple and the document required during admission was already given to us. All I had to do was to go to college and they check all the documents and signed and approved .

Faculty

3

I believe the faculty-to-student ratio is at around 1:20. The faculty members are very approachable; they have a staff room on the save floor where students can go during breaks if they have any questions or concerns. Personally, I favour Math faculty since they guy who teaches us maths is fantastic and makes the class enjoyable and engageed. Coming to the faculty that I dislike is LBC because I doubt that sir knows how to teach, and his voice is so low that students sitting in rear cannot hear him. Actually, there are six tests for six subjects in my course, all of which I consider to be of a resonable level. Approximately 20% of students fail to pas the tests. The marking scheme for my semesters is based on a relative grading system. Relevance of my course curriculum is around 80-85% .

Night Life

4

My favorite hangout spot would be canteen as I go there in lunch break from 1:15pm - 2:15pm and all of my friend from different branch would be already there. We have fun talking there and everyday some guy from our friend cirlce buys someting from canteen and we enjoy eating with them. Talking about late-night activity I didn't do anything personally till now because I am localite. College ends at 4:15pm for everyone, those people who are hostalite will go to their respective block. There are two hostel for girls and boys. Then there are locallite these are of two types who come from city bus and other comes from college bus. The city bus student will leave the campus and wait by side of highway for city bus and travel to city and college bus students will be waiting outside of their busses which are parked just outside of campus. The college busses leaves at 4:45pm waiting for all the students to arive and in the mean time for like 30 minutes everyone just talks outside of bus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.
