Likes

Infrastructure, the institute has nice environment.
Curriculum and academics are quite good .But can be improved
Support from department coordinators will be there.

Dislikes

Timetable, sometimes the time table will be irrelevant.
Unnecessary subjects included in the academics in first year.
No proper events in the institute. They are given very less priority.

Course Curriculum Overview

Not all the course subjects are important. There are subjects that are not important as well as there are good subjects. Minor and mid exams will be conducted during course and at last semester exams.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are provided but should more focus on off campus internship opportunities. During campus placement, internship will be provided and then full time employment will be provided.

Placement Experience

The placements will be started from the final year of college. Like in the 7th semester. On campus opportunities will be provided but mostly to CS/IT departments.Even other departments will get opportunities but less when compared to them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The entire college fee per year is 125000.And the hostel fee is around 60000. If there is reservation i.e reimbursement provided then fee will be 90000 for EWS. For SC/ST there will be no college fee.

Campus Life

The overall experience is quite good. I havent been part of any clubs and all. The sports conductance will be good. But the cultural events will not be preferred much. Like once in year of possible or else not.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility was good. The quality of food provided was also good overall. The overall fee is 60000. The locality is good and the rooms provided are also good. 3 or 4 memebers per room are allocated.

Admission

I didnt choose this college solely. I have given many other options during counseling but i have got into this college. The admission process is as usual like paying tuition fee and registering for the academic year.

Faculty

The course structure is good and there are good subjects as well as unnecessary subjects as well. Few of the faculty members will be very supportive. The exams will also be medium , but hard sometimes. At the same time not so easy.

Night Life

The night life is also good. The library will open till night. Cafeterias will also be open till night but not too late. The locality is safe inside campus. There are very good places nearest to the campus

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.
