College

The college overall if we see is a very wonderful college but when we talk about the college management , it is very slow in working and has much local influence over the local students than the students studying from outside or coming from other place to study.

The curriculum is based on the Gujarat technological University and it is wholely designed by them. So the curriculum is based on what government decides. The course is of very old type and technologies and thus needs updation. Also more focus on research is not given by the college. 8/10.As Gtu has recently updated its course its better than past. we have a semester system with total 8 sem

Placements are wonderful compared to other colleges in the vicinity. The pay given by companies varies from 2lpa to 5 Lpa and from the last 2 years the maximum package has been of 10 Lpa. So opportunities are very wonderfull if you have good knowledge about your academics and good soft skills.

There are 4 events that are celebrated in college. First is Vision which is intra college technical event which takes place in September. Then it is a cultural event and extra curricular event called Spandan. Then we celebrate a sports week called spark where in students take part in different sports. Then the final event of the year is the largest of all called Prakarsh which is the national level technical symposium.

Fee structure is very flexible. It is the second cheapest college after the government colleges in terms of engineering University. Thus the fees structure is feasible. Fees are almost around 70 thousand a year for students and it varies as per the year in which student took the admission.

A scholarship facility is available for the students who are from backward classes or reserved classes. The scholarship depends on the class and academics of students. Also there is a trust of college which helps the poor students in need. Load facility is available for the students and they can opt it.

In our college every year 2 main events are celebrated in which one is prakarsh which is a technical event in which students from all over gujarat are invited to participate and its a national event. The second one is vision, which is conducted in inter college, which is performed on small basis.

Alumni network is very weak in the college. There are some departments only who take the interest to be in contact with alumni. Rest are not much connected. the senior students are very helpful in everything from studies, to events to, giving notes. 7/10

Through ACPC govt handled admissions process. here we have to fill form for acpc and through jee marks ranks are given then we are selected as per merit.there is also waiting list here.I took the exam called joint entrance examination (jee) mains. This takes place every year and i scored 98 in it. I opted this college because it has wonderful study culture and better placements than any other college near me

Faculties lack in communication in English language but they are very good at teaching and communicating in hindi language. The teaching knowledge of a particular faculty in his/her field is wonderful but they lack the knowledge of current world and need upgradation.
