Course Curriculum Overview

3

It has good faculty qualified, qualified from PhD and teaching quality is also good. And the course curriculum is not that much relevant for real world . Doesn't make students industrial ready. But the curriculum has some change this year for newly admitted students. Semester exams are average in difficulty level. There are 2 semester exams and 4 sessional exams in a year.

Placement Experience

2

Students are eligible from 7th semester for College placements. Companies are very less in our college TCS is the highest student recruiting company. The highest package is around 8 lakh and the average package of our college is around 3 lakh. Around 40% of the students get placed. I will pursue IT job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently the fee structure in our colleges around 45000 for tuition fees and other fees included and its starts from 2nd year and onwards. But in first year it is around 45000 for 1st semester and 10000 for 2nd semester, 1st semester fees includes all the other fees. Almost all categories have same fees structure.

Campus Life

3

Annual fest is called Rhythm and technical fest is not there in our college. The books are very accessible in college library no sports meet is conducted in our college. Students run many society and clubs. Canteen is good in terms of quality of food. Medical facilities are very poor in our college there is no ambulance and only 1 doctor in medical room. we have wifi in our hostel but it is not operative most of the time.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility is very poor. The food quality in mess is very unhygienic and not good. The hostel rooms are very small for two people. The registration process for hostel is through website after admission and the hostels are quite affordable with fees of 32000.

Admission

I choose this college because I was not getting any other good college in the rank of my JEE mains. I got rejection from YMCA, Faridabad. The admission process of my college is very smooth. I have applied in HSTES counselling and then I got selected for the counselling round and after some documentation I got admitted in the college. Cut off is very high around 3 lakh jee mains rank for my course.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very good. The faculty to student ratio is nice in our college. Mr. Vikas Nehra is a very good teacher as he has been in IIT Roorkee. There are two sessional exams and one semester exam in a semester and, almost 20 percent of students fails in semester exams.

Interview Experience

3

No i did not experience any group disgussion during admission process, neither any interview nor test. I applied to HSTES counselling as i am a student of haryana so i also had state quota so got a benefit there. After Online Counselling i also attended Physical Counselling in which i got this branch.

Night Life

4

Nightlife in the college is good for boys but not for girls. There is a gym and one library in our college. Hostel and campus library are accessible 24x7 for boys and girls hostel has timing. The best spot for hangout is Amul booth, nescafe and complex.

Other Applied Colleges

J.C. Bose University Of Science And Technology, YMCA | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical Engineering)

Because i was not able to get into some other good colleges due to my JEE mains rank.

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods, etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
