Course Curriculum Overview

3

The courses here is maybe not so relevant for today's world especially in India for lower branch.Since the curriculum is almost similar to that of 10 years back .As far as in my branch the new courses are introduced to us to to make things relevantbut that is not sufficient. A student who is inlower branch need to make an extra effort by not only do just academics but also develop other skills i.e tech , non tech , social skills etc and for that our college society are best. One can easily manage these things if they know how to handle these.Teaching methods is a area of concern as some Faculty take just online lectures and just want to complete their course while some are very good as I said earlier.Talking about exam timing In mid sem what can happen you can have two exam in a day or one in the evening shift of one day and one in the morning shift of another day that is feel is an area of improvement But as far as the timing are concerned they give a lot to live like in two hours to need to do only 5 questions which is very good and the difficulty of the exam is not so difficult if you just study one week before midsem and two weeks before endsem you can get easily 8.5-9 sgpa easily

Internships Opportunities

3

My college offers various internship across every sector to provide student the practical experience and also the industry exposure making them fit for the industry . Companies like Deloitte , KPMG,Uniqlo etc have given internship opportunity in mba field while in btech godrej, sprinklr etc giving internship to the students.Sprinklr giving the highest internship given to the students that is 2lakh per month stipend in the year 2022-23 which is extraordinary.

Placement Experience

4

Placement of dtu is very decent considering the recession in this modern world.Or college has an average package of 15lpa approx overall and having a placement percentage of 60% .Over 1000 of companies visited the campus . company like microsoft, facebook, Netfix, accenture etc visit the campus and take many students with a decent package.Talking about this year our highest domestic package was 85lpa and highest international package was 1.2 cr. After the third year company visit to give internship to the students giving a stipend of 20k-100k per month that is huge. my plans after degree is to seat in placement and getting placed for few year and see what happened

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid a full year fee i.e,236700 for the academic year 2024-25 Nearly 20000 per month in which 150000 is a fix tution fee that will not change in the upcoming years and that bring me to the concern like The fees here will keep on increasing every year 10k-20k .In my final year I need to pay 286700 and that is too much i think.Good part here is that there are many scholarship available to economically weaker section of the society,sc and st may also getting government based for full tuition fees as well and that's great .But for general category income based scholarship are there having annual income less than 4.5 lpa for 50% of college tuition fees and for annual income less than 2.5 lpa the whole tuition fee is waived off.But yah as I said earlier remaining fee need to be given. There are other merit based scholarship as well like the toppers of every department like civil ,coe, electrical etc getting a cashprize of 5k to 20k depending upon the scholarship

Campus Life

4

Campus life in dtu is very chill to be say the senior junior interaction is very good they called us facccha like'fresher + baccha' . I love the vibe out there. There is. Something new everyday in the campus . Renowned personality from the india comes to college every week like a have seen people like avadh ojha, neha Aggarwal, parul gulati, comedian etc and many more .There are two main fest happens here one is the diwali fest that is yuvaan and another is the engifest which is the technical fest happens in January .last time Famous singer Shreya ghoswal came here and I am very excited what next.Library here is very big having a variety of book for the academic purposes to autobiography you will find everything there. There are various sports offered in this campus like there are tennis courts indoor badminton court l,lawn tennis , basketball court and many more I can be able to say all of that .Like I said earlier there are variety of club available in the college and also the Student to discuss there problem anonymously and getting solution by other people and that is what I like the most .There are cluns like ncc,voa working for the social development of the society and the fir voiceless.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel for first years is having decent double accomodation rooms having two beds two study table balcony mattress and two cupboard one for each you are getting unlimited wifi there and also is unlimited electricity facility which is very good.Thiugh there is one concern that is the washroom that is not good proper cleaning in not there That what I don't like. Now talking about the meals served that is phenomenal to say the food quality is very good there.Different menu for different days and special menu in special days at e also there overall this phenominal. For first year the hostel is available for outside delhi students not for inside delhi but in third fourth year it is available for everyone. For 85k per year including hostel and mess is very decent you can say.

Admission

I have applied for all the prestigious colleges of India especially IITs but the dreams got shattered even though I cleared jee jee advanced 2024 with 112 marks the cut was 109 marks for general category which is double in last two years. I have also not got the rank i deserved in jee mains around 75k ranks I got in jee mains in which I got 98 percentile in maths and 96 percentile in chemistry but in physics I got only 85 percentile which eventually becomes the reason for low percentile in jee mains as I have taken physics for granted as I have got 95 percentile in physics in Jan attempt which I thought I can easily do that.Leave that aside ,In councelling process since I am a general category boy state haryana cutoff getting very high also all nits out there closed at 70 k approx I didn't get a seat these colleges. In Csab councelling I got Central University of haryana Btech computer science but rejected this college due to the location and placement scenario. After that I have Little options left i.e ymca Faridabad,Ip University.Ymca is renowned college of our elders generation people from banglore comes here to study But I don't like the vibe out there .One day I got to know about Dtu nsut spot round process in which the vacant seats are filled on first come first serve process In spot the competition is very high also sats of dtu and nsut filled in 70k my dream shattered. Then i decided to go to mait cs which I am getting from ip councelling but one day I got a notice about Dtu special spot round, there are around 25 seats available for outside delhi students I feel like I can get a one there i went there but the competition that iday is very high people drop off from there college to come here but eventually I got the last 5th seat there and got the college I want.I rejected mait cs as even though placement there are exceptional but there is a management quota in that college which make my branch and college superior than that

Faculty

4

The faculty here is having mixed characteristics,Some of them are extraordinary people who not only have teaching experience but also how to developed ordinary minds to to extraordinary tasks.Since I have been in my first year , The ratio of faculty per student is slightly large i.e,70:1 But that's okay you are in a college where these things are less valuable to the atmosphere you found there. 90% Faculty I got is 'chill' as they are very understanding and give you attendance if you come late to the class. For examination point of view, there are basically two exams to that is mid sem and endsem followed by cws and viva .Midsem is of around 25 /20 and end sem is 40/50 depending upon the course you have .There is relative grading but from next year the relative grading will get ruined out and the passing marks becomes 35 overall but that also depend upon the professor.I have heared that professor also pass people getting 20 marks out of 100.

Interview Experience

3

There are no as such gd rounds or the interview rounds in admission process of our college. However, there is spot round and special spot round for the admission process of our college .The spot round is like normal councelling where categorie wise seat allotment occurs and many quotas are there like defence,pd etc and also seats are also reserved differently for outside and inside delhi students like this college has reservation for 85 percent delhi students

Night Life

5

My overall best place to hangout in night is oat(open air theatre) Which I feel like the best thing out there people there are singing with playing guitar on emotional music and having couple on the other part of the sitting is atreat to watch. There is gym available but it is far away from my hostel so I don't go there a lot but maybe in second year i shall go as my hostel would be very close then. you will find a lot of cafeteria like Nescafe ,amul lane and also mic mac cafe , dominos and also canteen there which is open all day.the timing of hostel is none for the boys they can stay out all day but fir girls they need to go back to the hostel before 11pm.They are not very strict but yes rules to be followed. I haven't riam outside campus a lot yet si i don't know about famous places but Bangla sahib gurudwara which I went one day is very good experience there which is half an hour from my college

Other Applied Colleges

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology - [MAIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Since in this college or other private colleges of Ip University there is management quota which I feel is injustice to the student who performed well to get there.Location of this college was also a concern as nearest metro is nearly 5km away

We have to understand and go for training as per the direction of our enhanced cell guidance. Top level companies are the ones that gets along and gives nearly 90% of the students.

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.
