Likes

Great Infrastructure, spread over 50 acres of greenery and close to nature.
The students that join, they are very formal, disciplined and honestly lot can be learnt from them.
The area outside the college, the area outside college is a great place to hangout with friends

Dislikes

The professors and teachers aren’t as friendly as they should be.
The in and out timings for hostel students.
The lack of elevator for every student in the university .

Course Curriculum Overview

This is a great place to meet new people. People of multiple interests. People of ones own liked interests. Loving, caring and friends for a lifetime. There are tech fests that are conducted by the university board which enhances us to dive into the world of tech

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many ways to avail an admission into REVA UNIVERSITY. Firstly, as same as every college, this university takes pride in selecting the meeit students of the KARNATAKA EDUCATIONAL BOARD. Secondly, as same as every college, the university admits student with a minimal merit score with a nominal fees for every person in their respective courses. I'm pursuing B.Tech in AI-ML. My fees is Four lakh fifty thousand rupees (4,50,000) per year. And all of my classmates pay the same fees expect for students who are selected from the Karnataka board.

Campus Life

This university feels more like a home away from home. You live in a place with complete strangers with a very high possibility that you mind end up with them your whole life. The clubs here are great. There are many clubs like dance, music, tech and many more!

Admission

This university being in Bangalore, Bangalore has always been my favourite place. No more thoughts of joining any other college when I got know about this university. I had an other option named AMITY UNIVERSITY, NOIDA. Keeping all the weather condtions in mind, I had to join in Bangalore.

Faculty

The professors are great. They have great core subject to teach the students. The exam structure is same as every college, The first internal is called IA1 The second internal is called IA2 The after the two internals are conducted the semester end exams (SEE) are conducted.

Night Life

The University has an inbuilt gym, food places and many more. Gym opens at 6 in the morning and goes on till 8. And in the evening it opens at 4 and goes on till 9. The library is open 24/7. The hostel is great! There are many options in hostel based on our convenience. One sharing, two sharing, three sharing.

The placement in colleges was good but the salary for the core job work was very less, maxing at 23000 at max, but the pay for other job roles was much higher, so getting a job from college was not difficult

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

I did not personally apply to other unis because there are not a lot of other unis which provide similar course handled by subject matter experts. I only applied to REVA university and got in without much hassle. The eligibility criteria was only the results scored in 10th and 12th with relative ease if you have good scores. admission process is pretty stright, give exams such as cet for karnataka students or comedk get a rank from respective boards and apply through the kea process and get a allotment for college, according to your rank, for reservation students cutoff is kind of high for the third round of around 1 lac ranking for courses such as mechanical, cilvil etc...Read More
