Fergussonian ever .

The very first thing is I have done my bachelor's in economics so it was obvious for me to join this masters course.Secondly taking Fergusson as the best option for masters was due to the name , fame and it's approach of study.Now talking about the curriculum Fergusson has implemented the nep 2020 policy which focuses on the implementation of the syllabus which means real world application. Here the curriculum asks us to take the topics in a way which can be implemented and worked upon which we do as a part of reaserch .The best part about the exams is they are conducted on time with results due to which the rest of the academic year goes smoothly . But the thing to be noted is that the difficulty level is moderate to difficult due to its demand for the high level thinking . So over all I'll say that the faculty is at the best but u need to grasp the topics in order to remain in the course and compitition.

Being a general category student my yearly fees for first year was around 10k but it increased to 12851 in second year . The 12851 were divided into various sectors like 1000 for tution fees , 3885 for exam fees and 7966 as other fees total becomes 12851 . Now for other category like sc st and OBC it differs a bit around 8k to 9k depending on the category . There are various kinds of scholarships available right from general category to even other categories also . The fee structure is been built in such a way that you can pay in installments also. As per your need .

Fergusson is known for its fest in Pune . This fest is so famous and thrilling that u cannot gt that experience in other colleges . It's nearly a weeks fest which happens every year at the end of the December or the start of January. Secondly there is a huge library which covers 2 floors built in a spacious area which is 90s old which give a vibe of the British era . There is a reading hall which accomodates around 500 to 700 students at a time for reading and study purposes . The variety of books this library offers is found one to become speechless. Coming towards the facilities of the classrooms.. all the classrooms are digitally well equipped with a touch screen digital wall for teaching and for other purposes . The college offers a wide range of sports which has a special place in the Deccan Gymkhana

Firstly here I had just applied for Fergusson and not others keeping in my mind the goal for getting into this college as I was a part of the college during my 11 and 12 so I was a bit aware of the entrances of this college which helped me again to crack the entrance and get my self into it .The reason for leaving my earlier college was the love and addition towards Fergusson which made me come again here . After my 12 I don't had any option for going to other colleges due to my low grades but I studied hard again during the entrance to get my self here . Now talking about the proces it's smooth and very easy to understand one just need to keep itself updated to the college website. The elegiblty is just u need to have a bachelor's degree in economics and so . But here even other background students are also allowed but the importance is much more given to the economics background students . So make sure u have an economics background for getting into this . Secondly the cut off is as simple as it is. There are two lists one for the sspu students and second for the non sspu students . The higher edge is been given to the sspu students than the non sspu students . Once the list is been updated u get informed bh the college for which u have to go for the further process which is just a meeting where u need to showcase you documents and clear other formalities once it's been done u get the msg regarding fees which u have to pay it online .

The faculty as been said is the best with Highly qualified teachers with all being PhD degree holders . The atmosphere is been very friendly which is been handled by the teachers . It's like our comfort zone where all the teachers are too understanding regarding the students needs and desires .Each and every faculty is the best in its own way and has an unique approach of teaching in their particular way . The course is been divided into internals which we call practicals , presentations ahe the theory which is the end semester examination. The ratio of students failing is a bit high due to the toughness of exams and their structure .. one needs to go through the syllabus and notes for pasing . But the teaching way and method is at the best

Yes there is an entrance exam which is been conducted by the college . There is no interview for any personal test . It's just one exam and then you are in . U just need to go through the bachlors syllabus and the basics of the economics . But one question to be noted that the exam is been conducted int he online process and no offline method

The location of the Fergusson college is at the prime most location at fc road which provides a hangout and chilling place to the students and youngsters . The area around the college is porsh and well equipped with all the facilities and amenities right from starbucks in front of the college gate to macds a, third way coffe , restaurants and the famous goodluck cafe . Fc road is the safest place for roming and spending some time out as its 24 by 7 high on the people , youngetrs and always road shows going on . The inside area of college is so spacious that one needs not go outside as the college itself offers variety of hangout places
