My college experiences

College time table table should be loosen up and details about holidays and examination should be updated in time on college website.

I took JEE mains examination. i scored 112 marks in it. as i have a deep interest in computer science so i took b. tech cse. i got admission in this college through uttrakhand b. tech counselling.

College provides ample opportunity of learning. It lays emphasis more on practical work than on theory.

A lot of companies like TCS, Infosys, Tata motors, Honda, Mahindra visited the campus. They provide handsome salary and optimum opportunities for growth.

More than a hundred of students were placed in TCS, about 20 were placed in Infosys, few were placed in Mahindra, Mechanical engineering and electrical engineering student got good jobs in Tata Motor. Average package offered by TCS is about 4 lakh per annum.* Above details are best of my knowledge.

College have many functions. Litrosphere : It is a literary fest. It comprises of many events like Debates, GD, GK Quiz, etcSpardha : It is a national level sports fest. It is of three days. Colosseum : It us a technical fest,second largest in North India. Accolade : It is an annual cultural fest.

Fee structure is feasible. RS. 38000 for first semester where Tuition fees is Rs 22000 + rest is hostel charge and mess fees.For second semester it is about Rs. 31000 .

There are some scholarships for SC/ST/OBC category but there is no scholarship for General category. Although there are some small scholarships for meritorious students.

There is a lot of fun in the hostel. Frequently parties, funny games, exam stress. Campus life is very busy. We have classes from 8am- 5 pm with 1 lunch hour break on first three days and 9am -5pm on Thursday and Friday. 9am-1pm Saturday and NSS from 2pm- 6pm.There is good facility of lab. We have a big stadium. Many games like football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, badminton, gymnastics, etc are played. College provides students ample opportunity to excel in sports. There is a robotics club too.

Hostel facilities are good. Three students in one room. Electricity and water facility is good. Proper lighting is there. Mess quality is nice. They serve variety of dishes everyday, but in breakfast we are served with Aaloo Paratha daily.

Some senior are good, some are not. But mostly they are helpful. They help us know about our college. They help us studies and games too. But some of the senior want us to give them respect. They want us not to look in there eyes while talking.

Examination system is semester type. A semester consist of two mid term exams popular known as hourly. Hourly is of 1 hour duration.

Faculty is mostly good and well qualified. To conclude I think it is above average.
