The quality of infrastructure is very good
Most of the faculties are supporting in behaviour
Curriculum is good overall it takes 6 months per semester

I don't like the uniform system of this college I felt like school
Placement derives are less and satisfied as compared to other good colleges
College life I cannot be happy because no more fun in this college

Yeah specific aspects of curriculum is good We prepare for the semester with the help of college and Internet Teaching methods should be improved it would be like nit and iit colleges Yeah timing is too long

I pay 65000 per year fees for my b.tech course Of ECE stream Scholarships are available for OBC and sc/st category Sc/St above 95000 OBC above 28000 Others branches have different fees structure like B.TECH CSE tution fees is above 1 lakh 20 thousands

Campus Life

There are many events which occurs in our college every year such as SMART INDIA HACKATHON, TED X , AND MANY MORE Cultural and religious activities we NCC and NSS social groups in our college and many sports events also occur

Admission

I also applied for LNCT college but it has more fees structure which I can't afford so I decide to take Oriental college Admission process is simple either you get direct admission for other branches and for CSE you have to fill Direct counselling

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is quite good and the faculty to students relationship is good which is dependent on students overall performances and manners. Abhishek Sharma sir is the best faculty based on their behaviour There are 2 semester in one year and 2 mid semester exams per semester

Interview Experience

Gd interviews are is the AI is boon or ban for our generation I prepared for these round with the help of my verbal faculty she helps me to improve my English skills inside the college and motivates us and share their experiences to build confidence inside us

Night Life

Yes we gave gym in our boys hostel And three canteens and one cafeteria in our campus Timings for boys hostel at night is 9 pm Yes we have good security system in our college and we also have Library inside our campus to study in good surrounding

Course Curriculum Overview:

Core Subject Coverage Subjects like Data Structures, Operating Systems, DBMS, Mathematics, etc., provide a strong base. Structured Semester System The curriculum is well-organized across 8 semesters with gradual difficulties. Ensures standardized syllabus according to industry relevant. They take exam frequently.

Course and curriculum we followed was of RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya) which is outdated and was not in relevance with nowadays advanced technologies which was a demerit of this college.

Placement Experience:

Sunstone is planning placement for us as they promised a lest placement of 4lpa or more from the extra courses they are running and training is and also provides chances to sit in multiple interviews of companies. Companies like appzeto , even digit, Lancesoft many students git placement of 7lpa. After degree if I can get placement from sunstone sage I will get it or try to crack off campus placement.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Deom semester 2 students can avail for internship and from semester 4 students can avial for placements There are several companies like accentire, Infosys, tcs, learn flu, pcs pvt ltd, advikait, internslite, blucurcursor, rackbank etc It make about 280 offers The highest package is 11 lpa and average is 4 lpa 70 percent students get placed

Placement Experience:

Placements at VIT Bhopal University start from the 7th semester company is like Tata Consultancy Services,Infosys and Wipro visit. Average package are 4-6 LPA with higher offers for top CSE students.Many also pursue higher studies or off Campus role.

Good but not Bad

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... I'm planning to give upsc exams after graduation

Placement Experience:

Not much helpful in terms of placements.not very big MNC companies visit there and average packages are not much high the faculty will not guide you about placements you have to prepare on your own and apply for offline placements.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th or 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. there are too many it companies visited here like TCS Infosys etc. The highest package in this college is 8lpa. From my point of view, this college is not suitable for good campus placement.

Nice college

Remarks:

College have about 8500 student in the campus in different section of UG/PG COURSES no. Of boys bs girls are approximate equal. College start from 8 am and ends up at 2 pm with two breaks between them. Different sports are also carried out like swimming,horse riding, cricket,volleyball,football etc.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). Minimum Marks:45% aggregate in 12th Accepted Exams:JEE Main is the primary and most preferred exam. OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!

Admission are through 12th socre and entrance scores too matters. In 12th for General Category students 60% is mandatory and for OBC a minimum of 50% and for SC/ST students it's 50%. Post which as per the seats the cut-offs are announced and final admission happens....Read More

Oriental institute of science and technology review
