What Students Say

Likes

There were no attendance issues in the college.
The canteen served fresh food with a good variety of options.
The infrastructure was commendable with a spacious library and amazing lecture halls.

Dislikes

Off campus college therefore the placements weren't as good.
Too many students in one section, 65-70 each.

Course Curriculum Overview

I feel a few changes should be made to make it relevant to the practical world. But as far as the comprehensiveness is concerned, the course offers a good amount of subjects covering various aspects of commerce.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure: Year 1 10,000 Year 2 15,000 Year 3 25000 All the fees were included other than fees for the library card which was also quite nominal. College didn't charge us any extra for any other events. There was an option to switch to financial aid every year along with proof.

Campus Life

Amazing infrastructure. The sports facilities were however less, limited to only a court of badminton which was always busy any time of the day. However the hostels and canteens were well maintained and neat. The clubs and societies offered a great culture.

Admission

The admission process was quite easy. Compared to other colleges, DDUC has an amazing infrastructure. However, I feel the placement records at an on campus college would be definitely better any day.

Faculty

The teachers are very nice and understanding. Internals were taken seriously and regularly all throughout the semester. My course B.Com Hona is quite comprehensive at Delhi University, I enjoyed studying it throughout my college life. It's an evergreen course and was delivered well by the faculty.

Night Life

College and other facilities close around 5 pm. Curfew starts at 9 pm for those living in the hostels. Famous hangout places were Vegas Mall, Cafe Uncover, Pacific Mall, Moonbucks Cafe. The locality is safe to roam around any time of the day.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com]

DTU was science oriented, didn't have many placements for commerce.

the placement and internship cell of the college is very active through out the year and many opportunities are given. for the placement offers , students from 3rd years and above and graduates are eligible. and for the internship, typically students from every year can apply. but the company can make its prefernce.

Things you should know about Mata sundri college, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

My liking for accepting influenced my decision to choose b.com hons . The curriculum prepares well for real world applications however I think that work on field give more knowledge. Teachers should teach with real life case studies and examples rather than with the bookish theories. The exam are not that though if you had go through the whole syllabus for once (nicely) you can pass the exam with good marks .

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics.The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this.You have to study in the right way and take classes.Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment.In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

The placement cell of the college is quite active. Many companies in the past have recruited from the college with average package of 5-6lpa and highest being 35lpa. Aroumd 50-60% students appear to get the placements.

Truly great experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The time table of our college is very manageable and the timings of the paper are good and the teacher takes class test on weekly basis so it help us to learn topic easy.

Choose bcom program and it a good choice for me. Commerce department is very helpful and supportive. Teacher are very helpful and kind to every student. Time table needs to change because class starts from 8:40am and ends 5:00pm . This needs big change

The life you should live in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.
