The goods & bads about Government polytechnic ahemdabad

The course curriculum in our college for the diploma in computer engineering is quite relevant and covers most of the important topics we need. One of the reasons I chose this course is because it includes programming languages, networking concepts, and computer hardware, which are important in today’s world

Recently i had an intership to do in my course . So there were many companies that offered internship to students. For example infolabz etc . The students can also do an intership under a faculty . Or else they can choose an company by themselves . There were many topics for the intership like data science and Machine learning , flutter , Artificial intelligence etc etc . I did the intership in the course of data science and Machine learning. I did the intership under the company that my college provided . And there i really had a good time in learning new things . The amount of knowledge i gain is wonderful . At the end of the intership we had to submit a project to our college facilities . I personally made a project based on data science and Machine learning titled as " Stock price prediction " .in this project i made a stock price prediction program that can predict the closing price of the stock . I could only make this because of the knowledge that i was provided with in the intership

My college does provide the placements. In the 6th sem the students became eligible for the placements . Companies come to our college and interviews each student from which some of them are given the jobs . But the rate of the students that get placements are very low in my opinion . We can't be reliable on college placement , because of low placement rate and tough competition .

In my college the yearly fees is 1480 . For tfws and girls the yearly fees is 480 . As per the amount of fees the education we recieve is great . In this fees we recieve the best amount of learning environment . The yearly tution fees is 1000 , the yearly mid sem exams fees is 300 and the yearly gym fee is 180 . We recieve mysy scholarship of around 1500 - 2000 from our college.

I think my campus life is good . When i first joined the college i was afraid of it but as the time passed i realised that it wasn't very tough after all . We have many events and festivals in our college campus. For example navratri etc .. we also held many college events like singing shows , writing competition . In the middle of the year we always do a event called RHYTM .in which the students and faculties also perform for enjoyment. We also celebrate sports week . In this sports week we have games like badminton , volleyball , table tennis etc .

First of all i chose this college and this college was my first priority because my college is considered as best college for the course that i chose . I applied in two other colleges ( Rc technical and silver oak ) as a backup . I chose this college because it had more good environment than others colleges . I didn't get rejected by any college because of my good percentages .

The faculties in my college are best . They know how to teach different types of students based on there learning type . The ratio of faculty to student is 1 : 60 . The relation between student and the faculty is very sweet and respectfull . My favourite faculty will be umag d shah from my college . Because he has very calm and simple way to teach students. But his way of teaching is very effective . There are 3 exams . Two mid sems and last and main gtu exams . The student that gets failed are very less .

No we didn't had any test or interview for our admission . During my admission we had to give some documents to the college for ex our marksheet , our information etc . The admission in our college is i guess based on the 10th marksheet and student's knowledge.

The night life around our college is fabulous because of the area . There are multiple places for gaming, dinner , hangout, chilling , to just sit and relax . For example we have multiple cafes around our college . In our college we also have gym but it does not really looks like a gym. Cause it doesn't have any equipments . In my college there are only girls hostels right now , though there is building for boys hostels but it's definitely not in condition of use . So i don't know much about hostels . Though just by seeing i can say that the hostel's are kept and managed very nicely. Providing the students a good and home like environment with good roommates . The most popular place around our college is the LD eating spot . The area around our college is very safe to hangout no matter what time it is .
