The industrial oriented courses and along with them the software practical labs. Its is fairly well. There are practical labs, where students are made to do hands on work, on machines, and mechanical testing apparatuses. However, it can be improved. Include more industry oriented and recent trend specific courses, like on Robotics and AI, ROS, AI/ML and Project Planning. Exams are fairly easy. If you have studied even on an average lvl, u can score well

From sem 4, you can start applying. From sem 6, you can officially do an oncampus intern Google, Amazon, Flipakart, PhonePe, HDFC, Reliance, StanChat, BNY, GS, etc Highest 55LPA, avg, 20LPA. almost 80-90% get placed, others take on higher education

For the btech/dual degree(integrated up to the 8th sem) winter semester the total fees payable without a late fine for General / OBC / EWS students are 1,26,400Rs including 1,00,000 as tuition fees, Rs8,400 as other fees, Rs18,000 for mess fees. A late fine is Rs5,000. For SC/ST/PWD students, the total is Rs31,400 comprising Rs.8,400 as other fees and Rs18,000 as mess fees.(tuition fee exempted). Same with a little variation for monsoon Semester.

Srijan - Cultural, Concetto - Technical. The second largest technical library in whole of the ASIA. So pretty much every educational books. Classrooms are technologically, uptodate, just AC is required. Sports facilities are fairly good. But i think more grounds and money should be poured into sports. We have our official NGO, a student run, called Fast Forward India (FFI)

A room for 2. Each student gets a bed, almirah, 2 lights, 3 sockets, a fan, a study table and a chair. The fire extinguishers are vividly applied. Meal is not that good. Its never good in any MESS. Regretting writing that.

I applied to only the colleges using Jee advance, so all iits. Chose IIT Dhanbad, cause of my rank in JEE Adv. Yes, my score was not high enough. The basic jee advance procedure. get through document verificatino and fee payment, and youare all set.

The faculty to student ratio i feel is bad. Usually in a lecture, for majority branches, there are 100+ students and there is only one professor, with 1 TA. Prof. Arun Dayal Udai -- He owns his own robotics company. What more can i ask of him Prof. Satyabrata Sahoo and Prof. Ajay Bhandari -- Both have a very unique, a little strict, way of teaching. They can take things from a high school level to PhD level teaching, with minimal effort. Blessed to have them. Prof. Yuan (say, the Machine Design Professor for 5th sem). He was basically trying to complete the course, and had interest whether students want to study or are they even understanding. Same for Prof. Rakesh Kumar. 5 subjects each sem, Midsem and Endsem. The intermediate tests vary with the professor.

Night Life is not that much. The intime for hostels is 12:00 midnight. The shops usually close around 10:00pm. Although, hostels have night canteens that run till 2-3am. Thats great. The college main gate closes at 10;00pm.
