Remarks

Our college provides Computer labs, Smart Classrooms, Canteen, Transportation facility, Hostels, Administrative facilities and a well-stocked library as well.

I chose the BTech in Computer science and engineering. It consists of both theoretical and practical aspects of Computer Science. It provides specialization in software and hardware subjects.

College Events

Our college organised the events such as Environment Day, Independence Day, Fresher's party for new comers, convocation, tree plantation week etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my course was very affordable as compared to other colleges. It was around 32000 rs per annum and the admission fee is 500 rs which was submitted at the time of admission.

Our college organised many extracurricular activities such as Labs & Workshops, Co-curricular activities, Seminars, indoor and outdoor sports.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is active in our college. They were helpful and also guide us for our bright future. The senior students were always guided and motivated us.

Admission

First, I gave my 12th examination and KEAM Entrance Exam. After completion my 12th and also have got a rank in KEAM then I chose this college in counselling.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. College of engineering Kaloopara review as a student

I had applied for other colleges but I picked this one because here the placements are excellent and top notch companies come here for hiring students. I availed of the government merit quota for admission so the fees were 35k per year otherwise it would be 75 k. the college atmosphere is calm and quiet. Since my admission was in the middle of the pandemic we had both online and offline admission procedures, since offline was convenient for me I chose it.
