Course Curriculum Overview

It is very relaxed because if you are able to do your internals well( which is very easy for most) then you just need to get around 35 or 40 just to pass but excluding that factor the syllabus is adaptable and covers all the important and necessary information The valuation for written exams can be very strict

The companies that I've heard off offering internships mostly include TCS Qspiders 6Dtechnoligies just to name a few Large scale projects are also given as part of the final year curriculum and offers with lots of stipend is given

Placement Experience

Placements are very varied but there is a minimum of 70% placement offers almost every year and 50% of the students get placed is the data I am aware off The students are always prepared for placements and the offers received are nothing.

Fees and Financial Aid

For me as a student who got a merit seat here, I had to pay 45k per year. Since it is a government-aided college you don't have to expect many fees and the facilities will be reflecting of that. Scholarships are available but I didn't get the scholarship

Campus Life

The social life is very energetic and accepting And the functions are not very bad considering the position of the college there are only a few student groups and only some of them are active and since everything is managed by the students every detail of every event is always made open

Admission

I joined this college because there is only a handful of Colleges that offer computer science with cyber security as an engineering course and this is one of if not the best if your considering that line of work since the college has various connections and thier cybersecurity department is very strong

Faculty

Most faculty members are very approachable and supportive As a cybersecurity student, I don't know much about the staff which are not teaching me but the ones that teach well although some are a bit fast.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

College of engineering Kaloopara review as a student

I had applied for other colleges but I picked this one because here the placements are excellent and top notch companies come here for hiring students. I availed of the government merit quota for admission so the fees were 35k per year otherwise it would be 75 k. the college atmosphere is calm and quiet. Since my admission was in the middle of the pandemic we had both online and offline admission procedures, since offline was convenient for me I chose it.
