Remarks

It is a very nice place to study and gain knowledge. You have good faculty support good friends circle and the location is in a remote place so you will get fresh air all day. They provide IVs and cultural activities for us to know each other well.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

When i was doing graduation the college was under CUSAT university later changed into KTU now. The syllabus was bit tough gor the average students the exam valuation too. But the staffs were really helped us to attain good marks and pass with ease.

Placement Experience

4.5

We had placement in TCS and some local companies. The placement cell and the staffs associated with it were really helpful and they made sure we attained good skills on facing and winning interviews.

College Events

4.5

College arts day, technical fest, sports. In these arts and sports helped us to develop inter personal skills and get to know about juniors and our seniors at the same time technical fest helped us to gain information on new technologies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. I had joined on general quota. I had to pay 6000 rs plus for a semester Which was really small compared with the private colleges in our area. The quality of the teachers were never a Reason for them to get us pay more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I studied as a hostler, so i had grants provided by the kerala educational development board. The faculty really helped me to gain information and apply for this refund and government actually paid my hostel fee.

Campus Life

5

College arts day, technical fest, sports. In these arts and sports helped us to develop inter personal skills and get to know about juniors and our seniors at the same time technical fest helped us to gain information on new technologies.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. I lived in a hostel with seniors they were really helpful. And we do have a working alumin forum they used to fix events. The last event was held on 2018. Awaiting the next one. They are really helpful.

Admission

I got admission through kerala examination control board allotment process. I got good ranks in the entrance examination carried out by the kerala government educational department and applued through online portal and got placed there.

Faculty

4.5

They were really helpful. Some of them were alumni students of the same college so they understood us really well and took efforts to help us to achieve good marks. Extracurricular activities were also there to improve the personal skills ok students.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
