Likes

Campus is situated close to NIT calicut so it is convenient to participate in programs conducted there
Mess provided here is very decent compared to other college mess
Hostel fees is affordable . we have 2 Women and 1 MH

Dislikes

Lab facilities are not promising (autocad software is not updated)
college's first priority is academics so if you want to study only this college is for you
The college does not conduct enough programs for the growth of students

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is affiliated to KTU.The 2024 scheme is a lot better than 2019 scheme however the first semster syllabus is all theory oriented i'm not sure if it will be helpful carewise. The digital 101 course is helpful

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees paid was 50000 admisssion through government merit quota. The fees for NRI and manangement will be slightly higher 1 lakh Rupees ,caution deposit is 10000 and 25000 admission fees .

Campus Life

The curfew time for ladies in LH 6 PM and for MH is 8 PM. The main gate closes by 6 PM . You cannot order food after 6 pm that they will not allow delivery after. KARMA , tech fest is conducted annually . Our library has a wide range of books. We have IEE , IEDC and NSS wing in our college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees is preety cheap. Hostel mess is also decent. We have no shelves for storage. Tables and beds are provided by the hostel. We have common washrooms in hostel which im staying. We also have a new hostel with attached wash rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 13000 per year

Admission

I heard about the tech fest conducted by KMCT and it seemed amazing so i decided to join there. Students join the college by taking KEAM or through management quota also NRI. The admission went smoothly.

Faculty

I have mixed reviw about the faculty there . They are spoon feeding us which not that much promising for Engineering students like us who needs to understand concepts. We will get marks but their teaching will not help you gain practical knowledge. The faculty is not completely in blame for this.

Night Life

No night life if you are in college hostel. If you take pg which is easily avialible near the college night life in Kozhikkode is pretty amazing. There are cafes near the college . Teapetty is one of the local hangout places i enjoyed hanging out.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
