The college is of national importace and located in the route of central highways connecting howrah to chennai. The place is well connected with airways too nearest airport is at vijaywada and rajahmundhary 100km distancs and 50 kms respectively.

Almost all courses incliuding bio technology ,electrical , electronics ,computer ,physics and chemistry have been added to first year academic so that students have a basic idea. The exam includes two minors one mid semester and other semester exam includind lab skill test and viva.its a total of 100 marks each with credits given to each subjects.

Well being the new nits,The college is in its developing stage. The 1st batch graduated this year and around 30-40% students have been placed in reputed companies.More companies are likely to visit the campus and this college will surely achive its greatest height of success. currently no internship is provided in this nit but since the permanent camus has been completed so from this year i'm sure it will provide internship to students.

Many events are conducted in this college. like inaugurations every year for new batch with seniors and most awaited of all is @VULCANZY* celebrated every year. it includes both technical and non technical events and students from other colleges are cordially invited.

its feasible being a government college run by central government.for any category whose family income is less than 1 lakhs get total fee remission and 40% fee remission for income less than 4 lakhs.

Since its a central government college it does not offer any scholarship to students as it already didnt xharge any fee for students family income less than 1 lakhs. But students can avaik scholarshio from state government and central government depending on their financial condition. College provide lian facilities partner with SBI.

Extra curricular activities include technical and non technical events like vulcanzy conducted every year.And many small events on regular basis.labs are good as per the course. Students participate in sports like cricket , football, table tennis, ball badminton, badminton , Volleyball and kabbadi.

hostel will be new from next year so obviously infrstructure will be plentiful satisfying with modern amenities.we will be shifted to new campus by august 2019. facilities are good not the best till now but will be best in new campus.

Well this is a newly established college added to tge chain of NITs. First batch will be graduated this year so currently it does not have any alumunii network.Senior students are very much helpful and work with us with great enthusiasm.

I prepared for JEE main. With self study and hard work i managed to secure AIR 44012 and participated in JOSSA round councelling and got this college in special round councelling. In each round JOSSA releases opening and closing rank for all colleges with home state and other state quota and eligible students get the college.

The faculties are skilled and well educated.Most of them are phd degree holders from reputed iits and nits.recently 40 new permanent faculties have been appointed and they will join the college from august of 2019 new session in permamnent campus.
