The infrastructure, the labs, the teachers
The atmosphere is very pleasant very green

Course Curriculum Overview

Cost curriculum is irrelevant up to some standard, but the basic engineering subjects are. I think are very very useless in today's world because learning electrical engineering, subject for computer sciences, kind of stupid only.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

125,000 fees 135,000 hostel fees No advantages for any other caste or even merit students like no matter what rank you get, or whatever you still have to pay the 125000 fees, no matter what. There may be some management benefits for admission, but I am not aware

Campus Life

There is a lot of activities and programmes being held in the college, but but as first year students, we are we really trying to attend many of these as it's a very hectic schedule for us to get through.

Admission

I chose this college for easiness and good infrastructure and the staff seem very nice. Also, the atmosphere of the college is also very very very nice. Overall infrastructure is also very nice. The principal is also very smart.

Faculty

Where is They are very very approachable. The lab and the computer equipment is also very good. There are two internal exams, and once some exam for each semester. each internal exam is 50 marks and from both of internal exams, 25 marks is considered for total of 150 marks, including hundred marks of the exam.

Night Life

There is no basic nightlife in the college. Basically, after 430, there is no one night. Light On hostel timings are 6:30 PM is the limit for first run. After that. It's 8:30 PM so there is no basic life life and stuff.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I did write the exam for SRM and VIT but then since I wanted to study in kerala I chose rajagiri school of engineering and technology.
