Top government medical college of UTTAR PRADESH

The course curriculum is very relative and comprehensive in terms of clinical aspects. This prepare us for real life application. As we have to deal with living patients, there are extra lecture/interaction for early clinical exposure in which we are teached how to deal with a patient in real life. There are special lectures for community medicine and public health . We also had a family adoption program in which we go to the village and deal with many families and tell them about personal hygiene etc.

Our college provide internship program for fifth year students, in which the students got a stipend of about twelve thousand monthly. After completing internship, we have a bond of two years, in which we have to serve in rural areas and got a descent amount of salary like sixty to seventy thousand . We can also go for neet p g and do post graduate courses.

Firstly ,the college provide internship for final year students. And after that, there is two years of bond, which we have to serve in a ruler areas, in which we got decent amount of salary. After completing MBBS the students can give neet pg exam and can do postgraduate courses like MD , MS . There are also good opportunities for researches in our college, we can even start our research from first year. My plan after completing my mbbs is to give neet pg exam and do post graduate courses in my college.

For general category, the fees for mbbs first year is approx. forty seven thousand five hundred which includes admission fees ,developmental fees and other compulsory charges during the whole year. For category students (SC/ST/OBC), the fees for mbb s first year is approx. Thirty eight thousand six hundred which includes admission fees, developmental fees and other compulsory charges during the whole year. There are many types of scholarship available in our college , like for girls, there is a kotak kanya scholarship program. There is also a different type of scholarship for obc students to which our college is giving opportunity to eligible students. We can also apply for the up state government scholarship. And many type of non government organizations scholarships are also available .

There are many events and fests organized by our college every year, like fresher party , farewell party ,foundation day, and there are many cultural activities which is organised by different society in our college. The college also provide sports week every year. There is also annual college program called rhapsody organized every year. There are wide variety of books present in our college library.

The hostel is quite good and clean. Hostel provide many facilities to students like geysers in winters . We are provided with a double seated room in which we got two beds , two study tables, two chairs and one almirah which has two partition. The registration process is quite simple and very affordable. After counseling, we can fill the hostel form and got a room.

I have got this college in the first round of UP state counselling. I HAD PREFERRED THIS COLLEGE FOR ITS BEST INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACULTIES IN WHOLE STATE. I also apply for the top aiims colleges but I didn't get as my score is low but i am eligible for new aiims colleges, which opened recently. I didn't choose for them. Because they are not too good as compared to our college. Because our college provide us different opportunity for research also. The admission process is not quite simple. First of all, you have to clear entrance exam (NEET) which is conducted every year by NTA . After scoring good score in entrance exam.You are eligible for a government medical college. the cut off rank for our college is about 1200-2400.

We were teaches by professors, junior residents and senior residents .So the student teacher ratio is quite good. There are about 9-10 professors in each department that takes our lectures. In our college, we are provided with small group teaching(SGT) , in which there are about thirty two students teased by a junior resident as our whole class is divided into eight batches of thirty two students in each batch . We can interact to our junior residents in small group teaching. The whole faculty is good and calm . But there are some faculty, those are restrict specially of biochemistry. There are two internal /terminal exams and one professional/final exam in a year.

A campus also had cafeteria, gym, and library, and also had a saraswati lawn in which a temple is present. There are different hostels for girls and boys which are situated far away from each other. Inside the campus, we can go to cafeteria for hangout. Outside the campus, there are many spots for hangouts like bara imanbara , hajratganj and many malls .
