Course Curriculum Overview

4

It will rate the course 4 out of 5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness because some subjects are still present in the course which has no significance in the current industry or has been replaced.courses are based on cbcs scheme. there are two main exams mid semester and end semester examination and sometimes teacher also organise some surprise test. difficulty level of exams are easy to moderate side

Internships Opportunities

3

Only few students of the every branch grabs intership in the college because only few of the companies come for the internship in the college and most of the companies come for the placement directly.some of the companies which offers intership in the college are microsoft,( it offers sde role), Google ( it also offer Sde role), caterpillar , Jindal steel etc.

Placement Experience

4

Placement in the college is really good and it is consistently improving.almost 90% of the student were placed of the academic year 2023_24. 6th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement . Some of few companies which come to the college for campus placement are Google , microsoft, tata steel, vedanta, GE healthcare etc. last year the highest salary was 62 lpa which was offered by linkedin. And my main motive to enroll the college is get placed in the last year of engineering

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at national Institute of technology Raipur is Approx 68000 is tution fee per semester and other fees like registration, admission, development etc fees sum up is 8000 so the total fees for the one semester is 76000.ST,SC are exempted from the tution fee they have to pay only registration, admission, development etc fees which is around 8000 per semester.Tution fee for obc and general students whose parents income is less than 1 lakh are also exempted from the payment of tution fees . Tution fees for the obc , general students whose parents income is in between 1-5 lakh they have to pay 1/3 of the tution fee and other fees and if the income is more than 5 lakh then there is no any exemption in tution fees they have to payment all the fees

Campus Life

4

My overall experience in the college is good .there are lots of clubs and committe in the college in which you can join and participate in the many event .some of the famous fest are Eclectika which is cultural fest of the college which is organised by Sanskriti, avartan which is technical fest of the college and it is organised by the technology.and the name of other clubs are Raga which is musical club, team shaurya which is sport club.these all clubs are funded by the institute.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel are not sufficient. It is alloted on the basis of academic performance of the student.for the first year students it is based on the JEE rank while for the 2nd year and onwards it is based on the thier academic performance. Meal quality is good as compared to outside hostels.there is very simple process to get admission in the hostel you will have to just fill admission form along with your result and submit it to the hostel caretaker. You can also go for rented room or pg and there are lots of rented rooms and pg are available outside the college campus

Admission

I choose this college over other because of its connectivity ,good placement record.the college is located in the mid of the city and it is located 3 km away from the railway station. admission in the college is done by the Jossa counselling which accept JEE score and cutoff for each branch are different and it depends on the exam paper level.

Faculty

4

All the faculties are very well educated and well behaved and the faculty to the students ratio is 1:60. They guide the students at every moment wherever it is needed.I like their teachings method because they use e media and print media both for teaching. There are mainly two exams are conducted Mid semester and end semester and some times some surprise test are organised.exams has easy to average difficulty level and almost everyone passed it

Night Life

2

Students are not allowed to go outside the campus after 10:00 PM but you can enter in the campus till 10:30 PM. For the first year hostel in time is 8:30 PM for boys and for girls it is 9:00 while for the 2nd year and onwards hostel in time is 10:30 . Gyms open at 6:00 in evening and will be closed at 8:00

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl, bhel, bhel, reliance, catterpillar, eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
