Day scholar view about imsec

The rise in IT jobs in industry made me choose this course and to be very honest I have a kind of enthusiasm towards coding and computers. The curriculum mainly focuses on academic and theories but there are teachers who focuses mostly on skills development and make us ready according to industry. The improvements can be done in the way of teaching and giving less assignments and focus on more skills development. The frequency of exams are more, means in every 2 or 3 weeks they conduct exam which is not that difficult but yeah we have to give it our time.

Adobe have came for the internship offer and took 1 of our senior. and this college also offers many different internship opportunities and also it gives paid internship offer to those students who don't get this offer directly. And also the faculties are very helpful with those internship opportunities.

This college offers good placement opportunities recently Adobe have came and 1 student got selected too. Form 6th semester students can get placement offer and we can also get internship offer from this semester only. Companies like infosys IBM tech Mahindra and assenture had came also. Highest placement was of 50 LPA last year and this year many more placement had to come, and the average placement is around 6 LPA. There are about 30-40 percent students getting placed. I'm also going for placement and for further studies i didn't have plans right now.

Fees of the entire course is not very hight, the BTech fees in another colleges are the same also but in the first year the fees was 1,35,000 and in second year it is around 1,25,000 as I didn't opt hostel so it is less. Talking about the scholarship yeah this college offer scholarship for students who came through councelling from various exams like jee and cuet. And scholarship also vary according to the category of students.

This campus has very academic centric life and we also enjoy there whenever we get the time. This college also organises fest and technical fests in every few months and DJ night also. The annual fest named Vibgyor is very good like last time parmish verma came in the college. This college also promotes various sports like we had many teams of different sports and this college also conducts sports events with other colleges. The club's of the college is also very helpful in this terms. The infrastructure provided is also quite good like they also provide essential things for the sports.

I have applied for various colleges like KIIT, LPU, VIT, MANIPAL, BITS hydrabad, and I got addmission confirmation from KIIT also but I choose this college because of travelling expenses this college is near my house and it is also a good college in terms of placement and all. The other colleges i applied didn't gave me the preferred course I wanted or some of them was giving me other branch that's why I didn't go for them. In my college the addmission process was very simple as I scored good percentage in 12 board so they took me directly and also they give addmission on the basis of results of jee and cuet .

Faculty are good of our colleges but the only thing is some of them focuses on academic too much. The faculties are ready everytime we need them, we can directly go to them and ask them anything they are very helpful faculty to student ratio is also quite good. The faculty named gaurav bhatia is one of my favourite one because he is very helpful in terms of coding and questions solving. Recently I was stuck in a problem he called me and solved my issue, and he is also very helpful with chat when ever I ask them anything he replies back. There are also few faculties which we don't like and they are not that coorporative as they only hurry to complete the syllabus. There are 1 main university exam and 2 main tests but they also take 2 more tests for preparation and 1 pre university test. And none of them is very hard , they all are average in terms of difficulty only 10 to 15students fails this exams.

Night life of the college is not that impressive but the cafeteria (Nescafe) is a good spot in the college in night. The public walking areais also quite good, the gym is not that good but it provides basic machines for exercise. The hangout places outside the college at night are very good like cafes markets and restaurants. The area is quite safe as there are 3-4 colleges and they offer security at night and the areas near the college are very well developed and have a good night life like RDC near our colleges have many cafes and offers a very good night life at night it also have a decent mall.
