Likes

Things I liked most about my college is that it has a vibe which matches the youth correctly and there is alot to explore and the best thing about it is there aren't any restrictions at all we can have a lot of freedom there and the surrounding are s
The girls to boys ratio is actually pretty good in the college compared to other colleges
The hostel is so good and well maintained but may be a bit overpriced and the message facility is also pretty good compared to other colleges

Dislikes

The thing I dislike is that the distance between boys hostel and class is a bit far but we have a buggy facility but we need to pay for the ride

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well prepared and organised so that students won't be nervous for any sems all are well distributed and our branch data science has a very good course curriculum as the technologies and concepts that are required for our branch aswell as for placement percpective it is well distributed and organised by the time of placements we can be confident of ourselves

Fees and Financial Aid

In the year I joined it actually 3,32,000 for 1 year and 5,09,000 for 2,3,and 4 year but from next batch onwards it is divided into equal of 464750per year there are no fees difference between categories but there is a scholarship provided after 1year based on their merit

Campus Life

There are a lot of wonderful clubs and the social life in manipal was absolutely amazing if you join in manipal buly the end of your graduation you will be so good at socializing with your colleagues and you will be leaving all your stage fear anxiety and all because of the environment here and the clubs are top-notch there will be so encouragement for the student projects and all

Admission

The basic reason is that according to the branch this is the best option for me the other option was bit pilani civil engineering but it got upgraded to biochemistry in the last round but I am not interested in that course so I choose this college

Faculty

All our faculty members are almost a doctorates who have done their phd in their respective course and they are so good at teaching we can give them a 5 on a scale of 5 for their teachings and their prep for a class

Night Life

Night life is amazing but you need to get by 11o clock into the college apart from that there are no other rules and there are a lot of places which are dedicated especially for night life here which you can explore once you come here trust me

Placement Experience:

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
