The cost. It isn't very affordable. So it might be hard for middle class people

The year fee is 486000 for academics. Hostel fee is 22600. It is divided as The registration fee is 10000 for the seat booking (It was known as the waiting list deposit fee, since it is the deposit fee, they will give it back before graduation) . The exam fee was 600. I got into the college through MET exam. There are no management seats.

There is no reservations or qouta system that is available in this college. Manipal a 10/10 college for students

In the year I joined it actually 3,32,000 for 1 year and 5,09,000 for 2,3,and 4 year but from next batch onwards it is divided into equal of 464750per year there are no fees difference between categories but there is a scholarship provided after 1year based on their merit

MIT, the pet college you found

My annual fee is 4,85,000 there will be caution deposit of ?15,000. There is no any compulsory charges during the course completion as per the category like management or SC or ST. There is no any such categories in fee payment.

You can get scholarships only if you got below 100 rank in MET exam for the first year.For the rest of years if you have the highest CGPA in your respective courses you will be eligible for scholarships.

There are way too many exams conducted every week, although it is to make students comfortable with topics but it gets very hectic and inconvenient.

The tuition fee for my course which is Data Science and Engineering was approximately 4,00,000 per year. But if you are able to maintain a yearly CGPA of 8.5+ then you are eligible for scholarships up to 90,000. Now the fees has increased for this branch, maybe because of addition of some new courses and labs which were not there earlier.

Manipal: The college dream

The tuition fee for now is 325000 per year for the first years and later on, for the rest of the years, there are additional academic fees added per year which concludes at 509000 per year. There are scholarships provided by the institute based on the rank secured in the entrance test. Additionally, there are fee waiver schemes provided by the central government for 1% of students of a class which is 6 students per class for which the annual income of the parents must be under 9 lakhs according to the income tax returns.
