There is not much campus life to enjoy. Things are more focused on research and education side. There is a annual farmer fest which involves cultural activity. Except that there are 4 major celebrations on 15th aug, 26th jan, birthday of rani lakshmi bai, and foundation day. There is a cultural club called sparsh which conduct quiz, debate and other literary and art compertion on regular basis. Annual sports day occour once a year. College infrastructure is its best part. As the college is new infrastructure is up to par Library is well equipped with computer facilities and vr room. social life of students is filled with diversity as being a central university it have students from all part of country.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are seperate for boys and girls namely vivekanand and manu respectively. Hostel area is very spacious with a indoor gym and a open gym in each hostels Hostels have a indoor sports room, a badminton court and volleyball court. Hostels have all time wifi facilty . Each hostel have their own cooperative mess which fees is 2600 rupees and serves three meals a day which is average in taste. Food is mostly north indian with 2 south indian meals a week. It have spacious room and accomodate 3 students per room. Rooms are eqipped with table, chair, bed, and 1 almirah per student.

Admission

I applied to different colleges like bhu, du, tiss medical colleges through neet and agricultural colleges through icar. I was unable to clear cutoff for medical colleges due to lack of proper strategy and other personal issues. I was selected in colleges like bhu for bsc botany programme, venketeshwara collge, du for bsc biological sciences, tiss in bsc analytics. I didn't opt bhu and du due to selection in icar and didn't opt tiss due high fees of programme. I chose rlbcau jhansi for its low fee structure and interest in agricultural sciences.

Faculty

4

Faculty memebers are of different seniority starting with teaching and research associates and assistant proffesor, associate proffesor and proffesor respectively. Average age of the faculty memebers in college is less as compared to others which is a benefit. Faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:6. Faculty members are generally very suppoutive. Exams are of two types practical and theory each carrying 100 marks. Theory is divided in to 4 parts quiz 1 , mid-term, quiz 2 and end-term consisting of 10, 30, 10, 50 marks respectively. Exams are generally moderate level and copy evaluation is slightly on strict side.

Night Life

3

There is a gym facility avaliable in the hostel with a open gym nearby. Hostels are also eqipped with table tennis tables carrom board and chess facilities. The hostel timings are fixed with closing time being 7:30 pm for girls and 11:00 pm for boys. There is not much nightlife in college and nearby area. There is a general store in college and a cafeteria to hangout which opens till 9:00 pm There is not much to do outside campus, for that we have to reach to city center which is 10km from college.

No such record for our courses 2.5_3lakh is what mention while taking addmission Students having 7 and above cgpa are eligible but they also have to clear gdpi sessions. If I get a job I may persuad it for experience and simultaneously complete my pg with agri management for higher growth opportunities in career.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements and there are a lot of companies that come for placements and highest package is by IARI, New Delhi of 96 lakhs per annum and the average package is 10 lakhs per annum. A minimum of 90% of students got placements. My plan is for becoming a scientist after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course because I wanted to explore and contribute to the agricultural sector for better growth of the economy of India, for the people of our country whom we can help especially major concentration towards rural areas or villages. 10:8, Majorly every faculty has done their PhD from known respected universities. In fact we students are actually fortunate to get the opportunity to learn from our faculty members. They are actually very helpful and in our department, the teachers are sincere about giving notes and other information. Term exams were usually normal with the proper time. Truly the exams according to me were mediocre not too tough or not too easy so anyhow a student was required to study.

Placement Experience:

When the students come in the last semester which is the 8th semester then only they are eligible for campus placement. There are a number of companies that provide placements. I don't know about the package since I had not faced any interviews till now for the placements and about 40 to 50% of the students get placement. After completing my course if I get any good University for Masters then I will go for that and if not I will prefer to do a job.

Remarks:

The college is best for who want to complete the course in low amount of fee and the education is best at the cost. The university is small compared to other universities but it gives students advantage of gaining focus of teachers due to low number of students.
