Honest review for OIST Bhopal

Like every other college the first year have every subject that includes civil engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering graphics, electrical engineering etcectra. Which is very hectic and pointless according to me and I think everyone will agree with that, why do we need to understand and learn how to make cement. If I am choosing AIML I only wanna learn about AIML. Curriculum is very stressful and not very good as well

Yearly fees structure is somewhere about 1,27,000 inr, that is per semester for Btech CS AIML and around 1,40,000 inr for Btech CSE that is CS core. For the four year course of btech from OIST you need to pay somewhere about 6,00,000 approximately. The fees is comparatively less then other institutions but so is the experience in this college

Campus Life is not at all great. Campus itself is very old fashioned and needs some reconstruction and renovations. Seniors are great very friendly and always there to help us out, either it is for some accademic guidance or some fun they are always there. Events in this college is not something to brag about very few events happen around here and they are also very boring. This college is very very strict and it almost feels like we are in school.

I applied for CU but my family didn't approve for that so I ended up here. Honestly it was a last minute decision and I regret coming here every minute. Admission process of this college is very simpe, you need to register in mpdte and then select branch and course, then come to the campus for physical payment and for some documentation.

Faculty is really really bad and I mean it like they are not at all cooperative with us and they even talk rudely with some of the targeted students and do all sort of partiality among us, creating obstacles and less opportunities for all of us which is not at all good if we are looking forward of taking a campus placement. Exam pattern is not bad because they conduct 2 mid sems in in semester and takes the best of 2 for end semester results exams are not tough.

Night life in college is very boring but some time with seniors it becomes fun. Rules are very strict for our return to the hostels like we need to get back at 9 pm or we won't be allowed inside the rooms. Wardens are very strict and somewhat rude with all of us. Calls out parents for even slightlest mistake and rule breaks.
