Course Curriculum Overview

5

There is no such specific aspects from my point of view to choose the agriculture coarse but for carrier point is view this coarse is well good for better life and getting job opportunities. The curriculum prepares the outstanding field work and research programmes for the better improvement of knowledge to pursuits the academics. The frequency of exams are good bt in some semester they are too close generally the gap between the internal and external examination are 2 to 3 months that are good for preparation point of view.

Internships Opportunities

5

Agro based companies that manufacturers fertilizer and seeds offered internships with stiped. After the 8 semester many companies visit to university to provide internship for the students. Many projects are held during academics that are helpful for internship programmes.

Placement Experience

5

After the 8 semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many Agroforestry based companies through the india are visited in campus placements. The highest package get by the students is around 2-3 lakh that is offered by the companies. 80-90% of students get placement in every year. My plans after getting to go through higher studies in masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 8000 per semester and 16000 annually. This fee structure includes the tution fee of college as well as hostel fee. Yes it provides scholarship through ICAR of 3000 monthly and 36000 annual for some criteria such as the students from general and OBC category get scholarship by getting more than 7 CGPA marks in semester exam and SC / ST students need only 6.5 CGPA for scholarship.

Campus Life

5

All the festival that are held throughout in India are celebrated in our university like Makarshankranti in January, Holi in March , Durga Pooja in October, Deepawali in November, Christmas in December and also we celebrate New Year. There are many coarse related books and journals are available in the library. The facilities and technologies provide in classroom are smart board , projector etc. Yes the students run cultural group like sparsha for cultural programs and social group like NSS for social work.

Hostel Facilities

5

The room provide the fan , bed , mattress, chair , stud table, cooler for summer and geyser service for winter. Meal quality and menu of mess is good and the menu provide us good nutrition and delicious food. For renting a room or PG the location is too far from the university campus around 20 Km.

Admission

I don't choose any other colleges. I directly get this university from ICAR counseling. I choose this university because it's a Central Agricultural University as compare to state universities Central University provides better environment and facilities for study and also provide better job opportunities for securing the future. Admission process is directly through the Entrance exam of CUET . After the examination you get this college by Counseling of ICAR by getting the Cutoff of various courses like Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries and Natural Farming.

Faculty

5

The ratio of students as per faculty members are one faculty having 30-40 students. There is more than 5000 students are studying in the university and 300 around faculties are work in the university. There are basically 2 exams are held in 1 semester internal and external. Internal examination are held in 3 part - Quiz 1 which is objective exam that contains 10 marks then as same as Quiz 2 are held of 10 marks after tha Mid term exam are held of 30 marks which contains subjective and objective questions. Total 50 marks of examination are held in Internal.

Night Life

5

Hostel having the gym of all the needed equipments for the students. The gym is of open gym that don't contain any charge . Hostel in timing for boys and girls are different boys timing for hostel in is 10 pm as well as girl timing is 7.30 pm . The best hangout places in university is cafeteria and park and also some pond which provides boating facilities.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
