Entrance Preview

No entrance exam, its based on cutoff you secure in higher secondary. Its was a strict college, mobile phones are not allowed and your not allowed to talk to girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good, i was part of electronics and communication engineering. They will make to clear your semester exams and many coaching class they will conduct which was irritating.

Internships Opportunities

Company like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini etc, They offered average of 3.25 Laksh per annum salary for freshers. I am happy to share i was got selected in Capgemini.

College Events

When we talk about college events its little disapponiting and we dont have much cultural activities. We have inter department sports meet that to outside of college hours.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan we can take from any private banks.

Hostel Facilities

Fees structure is ok not much expensive and its afforadle amount, they have increased the Hostel fees now i guess, they ll litrellay fine you 10000Rs if you use mobile phones.

Exam structure is good, we had continous exam like unit test 1, unit test 2, cycle test 1 and cycle test 2, model exam.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied for SSN and saveetha college. But now i am happy that i got this college. Because when compares to saveetha. My college have better placements. So im happy that i have this college.
