- Professors and their involvement in students character and professional development
- The food provided there is really good. Both break fast and lunch is provided for dayscholars.
- The campus is very big and student interaction is lenient.
Dislikes
- Books provided are sometimes torn and we are asked to return the book after each semester.
- Boys and girls shouldnt talk much with each other.
- The boys to girls ratio is 2:1 so there are less girls in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is set in such a way that if your tested from any angle you can still cope up. The course outcommes tell you clearly what you are going to learn and why. The exams are conducted in such a way that you have to learn all the concepts and that makes the students well prepared for the upcoming exams
Internships Opportunities
We are given multiple opportunities thorugh skill india and skillvertex and many many more companies. Our IVs have given us more opportunities for internships also. Internships have provided with an insight of how the company would want us to work and have also given the chance to learn new concepts
Placement Experience
My college has a placement cell and guarantees placement. We have a 97% placement percentage. The average salary provided is 500000 per annum in the CSE department. The highest was provided by ZOHO corp with a salary of 2300000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees i have paid is 200000 per annum. Management fees was 150000. Exam fees every semester is 4500. For 7.5 quota there is no fee charged. For counselling students fees is 150000. For management students the later they get admission the higher fees was collected.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs in Jeppiaar like Roteract and IEEE and YUVA and J dramatrix and J squad. There are anti ragging squads also. All the clubs are functional and fun and interactive. Seniors and juniors have good rapport through these clubs
Admission
The fees was very low to that of the colleges i had gotten admission into. I got admission in University of London and Dhaanish Ahmed college and VIT AP. Comparitvely Jeppiaar charges less for quality education. I had written JEE and VITEEE and AEEE
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 2:60. Thought the faculty members are less the quality of teaching is good. They are very calm and collected and help you in any way when you approach them. Ruthra Elumalai maam of CSE department is and will be the best professor to have walked the corridors of CSE department. Balamurugan of 1st year department has exceptional english skills. There are 3 internal exams and one set of external exam conducted by Anna University.
Interview Experience
I did not face any such interviews for admission. The admission was solely dependent kn my 12th marks. But we are expected to have basic knowledge about codinf and computer science in the Computer Sciences Engineering Department.
