Velammal college provides excellent education with great infrastructure
The campus environment is very positive and encourages students to achieve their goals
Well disciplined institutions with good teaching and a very good placements

Dislikes

The first thing I disliked in this college was food
The hostel food is very bad though they are paying for the mess
But the food was not good and they are feeling for that,so this is the things I disliked in the velammal college

Course Curriculum Overview

I joined mechanical engineering but I have expected electronics communication engineering but due to low cut off I got mechanical engineering but I didn't worry because in the freshers day was about 3 days and more chiest guest alumni came to that event and all motivates us that course is not important the skill we have is important.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1 year fee-1,03,600 Tution fees-98,600 Caution deposit-5000 The lab fees and other fees they didn't ask yet I joined through government quota but my friends are joined through management quota So their fees structure is Tution fees-1,80,000

Campus Life

In this college there is not much events there are only specific events to run,but if you joined this college the freshers would be for atleast 4 days you can enjoy that other than that they will give more importance to extra curricular activities and the velammal college is known for that,the class rooms are very good and the library is also very nice.

Admission

First of all I got SA engineering college in the councelling but I rejected that college due to distance it's very long for me so that I rejected that college then I gave upward and luckily I got the velammal engineering college which is very near to me

Faculty

The students ratio are equal but it's not in the mechanical course you know that,in my class there are 40 boys and only 6 girls but in other course like AIML,CSE,ECE,IT there are equal ratio, Recently I joined the college so I don't know the other things about the exams.

Night Life

The college timing is 8:30 AM to 4:00PM,you dont have to worry for the snacks at 11 AM they will give tea and cake for refreshment break,Also in the campus there are desert shop and cool drink shop you can enjoy that,u can't hangout at night inside the college as the college was strict for that things.

Placement Experience:

From the end of their 3rd year, students become eligible for placements. Many companies visited our campus and the total number of offers were around 400. Some notable companies are Google, Microsoft, Adobe and Amazon. Anout 60% of the students get placed. After getting the degree, I may go to some company or may do some research in Chemical Engineering.

I my college they give some important examples while teaching the content because it is easy to understand. The timing for internal exam is 1hrs and 30min in semester exam they provide 3 hrs.The subject are prepared by the department head and faculty which is running in the real world.
