Likes
- College campus:It is really huge which include ground, classrooms, building blocks, canteen, rubber estates and so on
- Cafeteria and canteen:There are total 3 cafeteria which have varieties of food items and other education related accessories.
- Trip ,Events, sports:They provide industrial visit aswell as trip for students amount should be paid by students and they promote sports and other events such as celebration, art, union day, ethnic day, etc
Dislikes
- Faculty:For masters the qualification for teachers was disappointing compared with undergraduate faculty. Some teacher does not provided enough class and some material given was disappointing. Some teachers themselves created bad image by partiality
- Chemistry lab:Lab experience was a nightmare. Because they doesn't provide enough practice eventhough we paid fees they doesn't allowed to do expt by ourselves instead we done in group contained more than 5 members each. So exam was not as expected.
- Chemicals: chemical access and lab equipments are really pathetic. Eventhough we paid extra 500 for lab maintenance nevertheless many chemical bottles were empty.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers mainly focused on bookish type of learning and lack of skills. 60 mark for pass and the timing for exam is 3.30 hr. Which includes two 25 mark essay , eight 10 mark questions, ten 5 mark questions. The course was good but access was bad they provide grading system that made reduction in score.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semsester wise fees was , for semester-1=36500, semester-2=22500, semester-3=22500, semester-4=25000 which includes caution deposit also. The chemistry course also charge extra Rs. 500 for laboratory maintenance. Merit scholarship such as Joseph mundassery scholarship, chief minister merit scholarship and so on was informed by college authorities.
Campus Life
There was onam , Christmas, union day , art, ethnic, and so on. They have a library which contains lot varieties of book sections. Also have digital library facility. Sports such as hockey, football, cricket, and other was held in ground. There is ncc, nss , other clubs.
Admission
Eligibility to get admission for first allotment is to have more than CGPA-8. 5 were most preferred students by college. They also provide management seats. But fees structure was same. Overall admission procedure was fair
Faculty
Semester 1,3 was really tough and semester 2,4 was easy. There were 4 semester which contains 4 different papers of chemistry except for sem 4 there was 3 paper. Many students was failed for semester 3
Night Life
There is open gym, 3 cafeteria, stone benches, lot of public areas. Campus timing is from 8.30am to 3.30pm. Locality also quite safe and there is hostel facilities inside and outside campus. Outside campus there is numerous shops for any purpose.
