Course Curriculum Overview

There isn't a specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. Honestly I didn't liked the main subject.I was so late to apply for a course and I chosed the collages and courses randomly. The curriculum doesn't prepare me for real world. The teaching methods are bad sometimes.

Class Size: 29Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was affordable for a middle classed student like me.Compared to other colleges and courses,it was good.For me ,I paid approximately 10000 rs per year.(lab fees and other are included)

Campus Life

The campus life was good.The college conducts various celebrations like onam celebration, Christmas celebration, union day, arts day and also conducts exhibitions some times. The faculties and technological provisions within classrooms are good.

Admission

First of all,I didn't know about my college until I looked at the list while applying.It was a mistake choosing my college.I choosed college and courses randomly because I was late for applying and didn't think about it. The admission process was pretty good.It was easy because only a few students applied.

Faculty

Honestly,the faculty to student relationship was pretty bad.I doesn't want to say the name but some of them offended me certain times. Also the exam systems are also pretty bad. The faculty-to-student ratio is 5 is to 10

Night Life

There is no night life in the college become they doesn't allow anyone in the collage during night time unless there is any program in the college the next day and we need to do some arrangements. The nigh time around the campus is not good as well.

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Peekay college, The heaven of studies and programs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.

Why St Paul's college know before you choose

I applied to Kristu Jayanti,Mount Carmel ,Christ University,Kerala University.I got into Kristu Jayanti but I left it since it was so far from where I was staying. The rest colleges rejected me since my marks and cuet scores were not at all appalling. We should apply to mg University portal and they will let us know via email about their acceptance.
