What Students Say

Likes

The thing in my college i most liked is the faculty they are very nice and supportive and are ready to help anytime
The gardens of the college its very beautiful and there is also a peacock in kalidni
In library every book is available and there is also a reading room where you can study peacefully

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not very nice of kalindi
The conditions of the classroom and some of the washrroms
Irregularities of clasess they are cancelled any time

I would rate the course curriculum a 4 out of 5 As I am a commerce student i have opted for bcom programme The areas in which the kalindi college can improve is appointing the teacher in time for the syllabus completion other than that the faculty of bcom p is very nice

Average placement package in kalindi is ? 3 LPA companies that visits college are wipro TCS , amazon , HDFC bank. The highest package is ?8 LPA and placement is based on the academics of the students. Internship also provides ?8000- ? 15000

Kalidni college offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The annual fees for these programs typically range approximately ?13000 to ?40000 depending on the course. I have opted for bcom programme and the fees i pay is 11000 approx per year

Campus Life

Overall campus life till now has been nice there are annual and cultural fests conducted which are very enjoyable and there are various societies and clubs which students can join as per their interest

Admission

Personally i did not choose this college it was alloted to me because of cuet exams The process for admission now is preparing for cuet exams and making a preference list of colleges you want to opt for and according to the cuet scores that college is alloted to you

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is sometimes nice and sometimes not because teachers were appointed late like at the end of the semester for my course The faculties are nice and approachable they help as any time we need

Night Life

As this college is morning college and not an evening college there are rarely or occasionally late night fests college timing is 8am to 5 pm The location of college is mostly residential so it is safe for students to rent a pg there and roam at night

LIFE AS A DU SOL STUDENT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

As per the marks I scored in CUET I think my college is best as it does not charge lakhs of rupees and also provide good environment. One of the reason I chose this college is that it is all girls. Kalindi: The off Campus Star of DU !

There were several Reasons to choose Kalindi: It's an all girls college so it felt comparatively more Safer than the Co-ed ones. Also, this might be an unpopular opinion but the Boys were not there to make mischiefs so there was a good built-in environment for Study. Girls were there to manage each and everything. Either it was NCC, NSS, Sports, Societies or even Student Union, girls were incharge of literally everything and it used to feel very proud and wholesome.
