Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum followed by the college is provided from the university. The curriculum is like outdated as the topic covered in are outdated. the course curriculum needs serious improvement. While it covers the fundamenals of CSE it is not appropriate for the current scnarios.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship oppertunities provided from the college is none. It is the student itself who need to identify the intership oppertunities. If the faculty advisor or the HOD recieves some information they share with the students, other than thatnothing is there. It is the effort of the students.

Placement Experience

2

One of the biggest drawback of the college is the lack of palcement recieved by the students. There is only very few oppertunities and students need to find work on their own . The college lacks industry collaborations and placement drives whick does not attact industries. Mostly 50% of the students gets placed from the college and the students. The highest package recieved is almost 8LPA. Currently Im preparing for GATE exam and thus choosing for Mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of our college is 9600 as the basic fees for tuition. But it does not include the other fees like sports fees, arts fees. During admission the development fees, bus fees amount 8000. For normal students the whole fees needs to be given. But for SC/ST students the fees need not given. Many scholarships like the MCM, Egrantz are all given to students by the government.

Campus Life

4

The college life getting from the campus is very nice. THe number of annual and technical festival is one. The technical festival is called as Invento. The annual arts fest is called as DAKSHA. The college has almost all types of clubs. The participation of clubs are very high. Members are recruited through selection process based on intrests. There are many student lead clubs like NH13 for dance, VOID MINDS for coding ad programming.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are actually two college hostels, one for boys and one for girls . The total accomodation is 150 for both the hostels. The meal is better than that recieve from the other private hostels. The registration process for the college is mailnly through an allotment. The college hostel allotment process criteria mainly includes the distance frrm the home to college , the mark obtained in cgpa and the income of the family. Based on these factors hostels admissions are recieved.I have never been as a PG. The hsotel rent for them is almost 5000

Admission

I didn't choose this college in particular. As the colleges are recieved through allotments, I added only government and aided colleges on my allotment list and my rank was 3700. During the year 2021, based on my rank , I got alloted this college as my Chosen college. The entrace exam is KEAM. and based on keam rank colleges are allocated.

Faculty

4

The student faculty ratio is accurate. The faculties are so friendly. Their understandings of the knowledge is good. The best faculties of of department include Dr. Sabitha S and Ruksana Maam. They are the best. The exam pattern is like 2 internal exam and one semester exam for each exam. Mostly the exam are tough and the valuation schemes are mostly tough.

Night Life

3

The night life from college is very bad. The main reason for it is due to the hostel timings. Hostel timings are 9:30pm. Hence the night life is not much enjoyable. The campus timings is from 9:30am - 4:30pm. The gyms are very bad. equipmnets are old. sometimes snakes just pass through it. main hangout place is the college entrance itself. The locality is safe from natives bus not that safe from dogs.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

The placement performance at the college can be described as average. While the institution does offer placement opportunities, only a portion of the students manage to secure job offers during their final year.
