Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good like we get industry the knowledge and what new trends are there in industry but the curriculum lacks in practical knowledge as they are mostly focused on classroom study rather than getting industry insights
Internships Opportunities
I am a finance student and till only 3 companies have come on campus for internship as compared to other specialization like marketing. And they are also not offering good stipend even to take care of our personal expenses during internship
Placement Experience
Placement are good for marketing students in the indira lots of companies come for campus and good company also get to the campus But for finance and other specialization students it is tough to find a good placement Only a few good companies come to the campus for finance placement that too not for a good finance role
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees is around 230000 per year but they also charge something called carreer and leadership development program (CLDP) Fees which is 70000. Many scholarships are available but category wise. Open fees is 310000 without cldp Cldp is not compulsory but its like they told me at the admission time that i will not be able to sit for placement so they indirectly force me and as no option was there so i took the program
Campus Life
Infrastructure is not so good as the space is less so there is only a 6 floor building and a parking and in the basement canteen is there thats too small Parking is so small that its make so hard to get your bike a spot. Labs and auditorium are good enough but should be developed
Admission
I was not going to take admission in indira . I was aiming for Pumba but unfortunately i got a percentile less so i have to take admission here as there was no good choice other than this there were colleges in Mumbai but living expenses there are high so i decided to stay in pune Admission process is smooth get your documents fill the form pay fees and that it
Faculty
Faculty is good , as they possess a lots of experience and had worked in the industry for past years . Course has a 25+25=50 marks pattern 20 for internal viva reports 5 for attendance 25 for sem end paper Which is case based Some faculties are experienced but lack to understand students perspective and don't teach effectively Exams are preety good difficult we need to have a good understanding of concepts
Night Life
Night life around my college is good but it comes with so much noice as it is located near pune Bangalore highway so there's lots of noise and dust Other cafeteria are good around it like Starbucks mc d Mall is also close to college
