Likes

College is surrounded with trees and greenery which improves students mood
Good and professional faculties who teach very well according to students needs
Transportation facilities for students far away from college

Dislikes

Reachability and time- as the highway is now under construction it takes more time to reach college
Attendance- it is compulsory to have atleast 75% for each subject to be eligible to write exam which requires student to present most of the days
Duration of semester is very short and the content to learn is much more

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is somewhat worse as it only gives the basic knowledge about the subject and is more exam oriented than practical due to it being congested with assignments and internals which practically gives less time to master the subject. Exams are more frequent compared other courses

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for state merit which is what I am having is about 45k yearly as the course consists of 4 years it should be well under 2L.other than that there is management seat 70k yearly and nri which is 1L.Also for scholarship I'm having fee waiver seat requing me not to pay tuition fees.

Campus Life

I'm not much of a social persome but Social lifes in this college is somewhat boring if seen in others perspectives.the social events are more run on lead with students and college won't even assist with money.main events are cristmas,arts,and sports days

Admission

I took this college because I got scholarship which me requiring not to pay tuition fee ,and I only wanted. To get into a government one Admission process for me was fairly simple as it consisted me to complete keam exam and get a rank above 20k and some documents related to the seat

Faculty

Faculty to students ratio is same as other colleges as the number of students is mostly 65 per class . Not that much of the faculties I don't like .most of the facilities are friendly towards students and will assist for their success. Exams are easy to pass but hard to perfect,if a student byhearts the subject it is kind of easy as the questions are kind of repeated

Night Life

I'm not a guy near around the college so I'm not that much assuring about the details .gyms,cafes,and library are available near,even clinics and pharmacy for emergency locality is safe with police patrols and good person .

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. I got allotment to this college after qualifying for keam exam.I was not rejected from any other college,the reason for me to choose this college is i studied in an ihrd school and I was very much satisfied with their management thats one reason and the computer science and engineering course in our college had NBA accreditation that's another reason.the addmission process is not very complex Nothing like interview or group discussion is conducted for students the qualification to join here is keam and NRIseats are also available the students who complete 12th in cbse had a cut off that's reflected in their keam rank...Read More

The CEC have agood ranking in academics. When compared to other government engineering college, CEC is not bad in academics. The teaching and other academic activities are in international level.
