The course is offered by ktu and curriculum prepare us well for the future responsibilities. The academic curriculum includes many activities and projects that enhance the capabilities of students in their subjects and facilities choose the best organised methods to teach us

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a management category student. I don't have any additional benefits. A sum of 1 lakh is collected yearly from me. Reservation category students have benefits like e-grants provided by the government. All branches are having same fee

Campus Life

The campus experience are amazing. All kinds of programs are conducted by the students with the permission of the faculty. Students collect money and organizes programs. Arts fest, sports day, and other cultural fest are conducted here and all students actively take part in it

Admission

The reason for me to choose this college is it only a few distance away from my home and also offers the the course I am looking for. The college select students based on the qualification of keam exam no other procedure are followed. I didn't get rejections from any colleges. When I joined it was the no 1 college in Alappuzha

Faculty

Some teachers are very good they come prepared and take classes with responsibility. All the teachers are qualified and have enough experience. But some teachers come with out preparation and waste time and keeping the portion incomplete. Two internal exams are conducted before semesters. The pass rate of college is good

Night Life

The campus surrounding contains all kinds of shops and restaurants. But gyms are a little long. A famous church called Pallipuram church is close and many students visit that place. And Alappuzha contains many lakes to visit. Many interesting places are there in Cherthala that's also close. I am not a hosteler but my friends in hostels tell that they have complete freedom with homely foods

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

I got allotment to this college after qualifying for keam exam.I was not rejected from any other college,the reason for me to choose this college is i studied in an ihrd school and I was very much satisfied with their management thats one reason and the computer science and engineering course in our college had NBA accreditation that's another reason.the addmission process is not very complex Nothing like interview or group discussion is conducted for students the qualification to join here is keam and NRIseats are also available the students who complete 12th in cbse had a cut off that's reflected in their keam rank...Read More

The CEC have agood ranking in academics. When compared to other government engineering college, CEC is not bad in academics. The teaching and other academic activities are in international level.
