Our college has a legacy of more than 50 years and has a great campus and staff
Education is also best it ranks first in Chandigarh in BBA and Arts Stream
Our college also will youth festival every year and has maked it huge respect

Outsiders, outsiders are big problem in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

Teacher teach very well with great examples and student understand it easily Yes they also built our confidence to coup up with real world problems and further academic methods Exams are conducted in mid of nov and our according to slabbus given by PU

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 53000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements in my college are done in end and placements are all only on the basis of percentage obtained by students Many companies like google.",Tcs, icici bank etc compainies take students form our college with average package of 2.50 lacks

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees have f one year is 53000 so according to it of three years it will be nearly 160000 but if u do BBA with Honours you will have to do for 4 Years, so your fees will will go nearly 200000+ Yes, our college offers scholarships for weakers sections who's anually income is less than 100000 and it also provides additional seats for SC, ST

Campus Life

Yes campus is very green and clean clubs are also made in our college there are many clubs according to their tallent and students also get many opportunities to perform in them club some clubs are runed by college and sum are runed by students and management is also very good in that clubs some clubs are made to help Poors and spread social Awareness

Admission

I applied in cgc jhanjeri first and got admission there but the fees was very high and it was a private institution so i dont liked it and the staaf pf chc jhanjeri was also very disrespectfull as conapred to sd college i paid 11000 in cgc for hooking my seat but in Sd college there is a online process students are only taken on the basis of their merits

Faculty of college is very great every teacher makes a great relationship with students and teach well The most famous faculty of our college is commerce and arts faculty our college is no 1 college in chandigarh

Night Life

Night life is also good i can freely move in the capmus at night and all around is safe Timmings for boys are 10.00 PM Timming for girls is 8.00 PM After this there is no entery in college if any one gound guilty parents are called i think Hangout places is all the college because it is very much big basicly canteen area is best for hangout

About college placement, there is a placement cell which provides the information about the companies in 5th sem. We have to fill a form where we agree to join the placement cell opportunity when companies arrive. As so many big companies arrive the chances of success is less. Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance of course is all theory but if we talk of it for real world it's not much that. Course should be more focused towards skill builder and not reading only. No practical hand experience over computer applications that are actually needed like excel advance or formulas. BBA generally offers various specialisation in the last year but they only have HR and if anybody wants to go for other options like marketing or finance which are basic for all they try to get them enrolled in HR ONLY. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO BRING MARKETING OR FINANCE FACULTY FOR STUDENTS.

Review Of GGDSD College

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester Students Are Eligible For Placements. Companies Like Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank And IBM. All The Placement Info Is On The Website Itself But The Requirement To Sit in Placements Is Atleast 75% Score In All Of The Sems Combined. My Score Was Not Above 75 So I'm Going For Off Campus Jobs.

HONEST REVIEW BY OF GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH BY A STUDENT

Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
