My Overall Review

Subjects are pretty good but Curriculum is very old . No Updation According to the new Trends . I could rate 2/10 how it prepares for Real world Applications. Teaching Methods should be more hands on and practical . Internals are pretty easy but SEE is medium level of dificulty.

We have Atul incubation Centre which have many startups . They even offer internships for students . I did Internship from a Delhi based starup recently with no stipend which i got via linkedin . I do Freelancing to make some extra Cash .

From 7th sem Students become eligible for placments . Many companies visit like Finnacle , Texas instruments , Nutanix , TCS , Twillio , few japan based companies . Finnacle Hires around 60 people last year . Highest Package was 52LPA . IT Branches have pretty good placements . Even Ece and EEE have a good placements . My Plan is to just get a job.

Year-wise fees i am paying(No Scholorship) is 210000 including Exam Fee which is 10 thousand. All the tution , causion , registartion etc fees is covered in 210000 . My Batchmates who have Scholorship are paying 130000 including Exam Fee of 10 thousand.

Incredia is Main Fest Held in our College . Cultral Activities happens every week . Library has very large number of books and jounals but its very old and compact . Sports and extra curricular activities is also good . We have BC alva Sports Complex for that . There are many good clubs in College like Hackerearth , Finite loop club etc

There are multiple blocks of Hostel . Block 1 is the best block with lost of facilities and large rooms . I stay in block 1 . 2 people shared room , 2 fans , attached bathroom with exhaust , hot water , drinking water ,Solar works sometimes . Meal is Pretty mediocre . Its Coupon system . We have Non-verg(Chicken) 4 days a week and rest of the days Fish .

I didnt apply for any other college . I directly wrote their Admission Exam Called NUCAT and got into the College . Compared to other colleges in our region our college is pretty good with placements and also other things . Admission process is Pretty Easy if you have a good rank in NUCAT. In NUCAT i got around 650 rank and i got information science without scholorship . Below 300 rank got scholorship .

Around 15-20 Faculty in our Department for 220 Students in a Year. Faculty Student Relationship is Pretty Good . Its very easy to Approach faculties . Even they are very friendly. I like Jason Elroy Martis in our department . He is Very Knowledgable Guy . His Teaching Methodology is also Pretty Good. Miss Prathyakshini is also Good . Dr Ravi B , Sumati Pawar becuase they dont know how to teach even though they are knowledge. Total 2 internals of 20 marks and one See of 100 marks . Most of them Pass in Internals and SEE .

There is no private gym around 10kms of our College . Most of the hotels in Nitte Closes at 9-10 PM . Hostel Timing its 7PM for 1st year boys and 6PM for 1st year girls . 9Pm for rest of the boys and 7PM for Girls. Sanmathi Garden is Very Good Hangout place in Nitte.There no nightlife in nitte.
