Likes

I like the lush green surroundings the college provides
The teachers who are very much friendly and cooperative
The events the college organises is very helpful

Dislikes

A very few teachers are very rude to the students
We are not getting proper time for sports
The college timings is very lengthy and we are not able to focus on co curricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and communication engineering being a very tough subject it is very much needy to study for long times and put in a lot of effort for scoring good marks in the internals given and the main semester exams

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have joined the college through a competitive exam and I have got merit seat and I belong to general category for the completion of course I will be requiring on an average of 500000 and I am eligible for NSP SCHOLARSHIP

Campus Life

Mysore overall experience with campus life, club involvement,and also the infrastructure is all very much good there a huge number of clubs where students can get engaged in and the infrastructure is also tooo much good

Admission

Although there were several different colleges in Mysore I choose this college as I felt the environment to be very much friendly and the first impression on the college was very much great and I felt happy on the first impression

Faculty

The faculty to student ration is pretty much good but the only mistake is that a very few teachers are very much rude to the students but all the way from principal to the head of the department all faculties are very much friendly

Night Life

The night life tour Vidya vardhaka college of engineering is pretty much great as we have a gym badminton court cafeteria library and also majority of the club events happen in the evening and also the hostel facilities are great

they wont suggest us nothing to take like take that course or take this course , we ave to chocie that which course i want to choose , the course cyber security have to have more changes in our collage the teaching methods should be improved like they wont teach in real time they just go through the syllabus thats it , they have to aa special lab outside the syllabus which they dont have

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Sweet and simple

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was passionate about this course.Faculty in our course were experts and experienced lecturers. Our faculty 3 to 4 members were P.hD holders. And others were M.Tech and also pursuing P.hD The exams were in every 6 months duration. Some subjects are easy to pass but difficult to score and some are difficult to pass

Why VVCE is one the best engineering colleges?

Actually I accidentally got admitted to this college. I was not aware of VVCE at first. First I and my father went NIE north campus and their the seats were filled so then we came here for management quota as i CET result was not up to the mark. The admission procedure is not that much difficult here in VVCE. Starting from application filling to fee payment, everything goes with ease. At that time , there was no donation for my course ( ECE) so I opted it and didn't want to go IT courses.
