Course Curriculum Overview

3

The adance technology in the biological systems and the need and importance of the technology in biological oraganism for future influenced ne to decide to choose this course. One suggestion the curriculum is to give more practicals than the theory during the academic s. It is actually we need for higher studies and future

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 18,000 first during the admission, it includes the lab fee of 10000. Then I paid fees at each year which is actually about 6000, but I have only to pay 2000 something because of egrantz scholarship. And there is 6000 rupees as lab fee each year. For each semester exam we have to pay exam fee. It was about 600 and above it will vary according to the practical exam. For SC ST students the fees will reduce. I opted college hostel where I paid 5500 in first year in every month. It will be 6000 in second and third year. That including the mess fee and rent.

Campus Life

3

There are programs like fine arts fest, onam celebration, Christmas celebration, ethinic day, sports day, annual day, film fest, union day are celebrated and also some day special programs held by each departments in our college. The well developed library with computers and wifi. The library was one of the main attraction of the college.. In each class rooms there were smart TV it helps students and teachers for their presentation etc. The sports and also the extracurricular activities offered by the college on campus are open gym, garden library, indoor stadium etc . Nss, NCC, and other clubs are also present

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel provide a room for 4 students . In the room there are 4 tables, 4 chair, 4 bed coat, 4 shelves. Bathroom and toilets ate are common. Not attached with room. The food is not so much good and not bad , an average. The hostel warden was strict. The registration process for hostel was easy. I choosed college hostel . Hostel vibe with friends was super cool.

Admission

I applied for mar ivanious college TVM and st Joseph and I choosed St Joseph's College irinjalakuda because it was the first women's college in kerala tha provide biotechnology government aided course. In mar ivanious it is mainly botony biotechnology. I need general biotechnology so I choosed St Joseph's. I got admission in mar ivanious too. The admission process of St Joseph's College was like the HOD called and said to take the admission on the date. Theor admission criteria was based on the plus two marks and extra curricular activities.

Faculty

3

Faculties are good and highly experienced. We can approach them for anything. Exams will done regularly. The sem exam wulill be difficulty for sometimes. Semester exam and Internal exam are the main exam during each semester. There will be two interal exams . Almost students will qualify the sem exam but some students will fail in 1 or 2 subjects.

Night Life

2

The students unwind after a day of class was mainly at the college canteen. Sone others at the open gym, libraries.. The timings in college is first bell at 9 10 am and evening at 3 30pm. In hostel before 6pm we should enter. The famous hangout places outside the college was the cafeterias for food like burger lounch, kacherivalp , etc..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
