Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is a mix of practical and theoretical subjects and it is a very creative subject the teachers prepare us for further academic pursuits and also if we want to start working...the teachers have to explain in detail about the topics and many will not understand it.. we have continues classes and no break in between we have a huge time in between for exams to prepare

Internships Opportunities

4

We have to search for the internship ourselves and it is mandatory for us to go to internship in the last semester and we have to make report and send it to thm..we also have to make a portfolio as a project this helps us in our career as well

Placement Experience

3

They train us from the very first semester and the placements happen at the final year the highest package is at crores and min is the basic salary almost 30/100 are getting placed in the placements many companies would come visit

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has a huge campus and we have people from all over the world the fees for fashion designing is not much compared to other colleges the fees for one year is 70-80000 and the registration fees is 20000 and each year they provide stationary and uniform which is 9000 and campus management fees is like 5000..the campus management and stationary fees are paid once but the teaching is really good and for the fees we are paying it is soo much worth it..they also reduce fees for scholarship or for merit and also for the categories..soo total the fees for 3 years will be done under 250000..and for the huge campus with all the requirements I would really suggest this place and also there are many fests happening here..it's all totally worth it..there are also people available incase any sort of help needed..the hostel and pgs are also available.in this college there are people coming from all over the world and it is a really good college I would 100% recommend this college if incase looking for a good college with less fee payment.. thank you

Campus Life

5

We have a lot of festive celebrations happening especially the famous ones are acharya habba in the month of may-june...onam is really famous and also kannada rajyotsava Each department has a library and also there is a huge central library available there are many labs and also with the updated technology we have many sports and competitions

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is really good and there are also pgs available nearby the meal is not that good comparitvely the registration for hostel is done in the college and it is quite affordable there are rooms and pgs available around the whole area and it is quite affordable

Admission

The reason I chose this college is because of the campus and it has a huge name for this college we would easily get good jobs if we are from this college plus there are placement offers and training available there are no exams. Conducted to join this college

Faculty

4

The faculties are really good to the students and they help us a lot they guide us in every ways and they also teach very good even if we didn't understand a specific topic they always help us to understand anytime..they are always welcoming us to clear any doubt or if we need any help from them the teachers teaching is very understandable but sometimes they go in a rush...the always finish the portions and also take revision classes for better understanding..but few students who aren't attending classes much have failed but many of them have passed and cleared the exam

Night Life

3

The nightlife in acharya feels really good there is access to everything as long as id Card is shown the hostel closing time is 10 pm..and it is 100% a safe space to roam in the locality the surrounding also is good to spend time around

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

More than half of the syllabus for FAD deals with hands on experience. This makes us really confident in handling materials and enable applied thinking. This is the very part that drew me into this course.

Right from the foundation program where they teach you material handling of common materials and drawing till the end year where it is constrained to your department. The course contains a lot of topics covered which enhance your skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated every few years and is very relevant especially when it comes to the new softwares or methods used in the industry. The jury-based evaluation system is very helpful in teaching us how to explain our projects, defend our concepts when they are questioned and it also learn to take constructive criticism. The assignments and exams are planned in a through and systematic manner which makes it easier to handle the submissions in a more orderly way.

I would suggest try department to stop sticking to the syllabus always and try and help the students to try something new and make sure everyone gets opportunities to learn something new. The timeline for exams and submissions are good enough.

The course is affiliated with Bangalore North University. Hence the syllabus is a bit rigid. They teach us beyond the syllabus, which is relevant for the industry. There are workshops conducted on a regular basis to enhance our knowledge.

Placement Experience:

There is some issue in placement, though we get placement the scope for the future through these placements are not that great. Many students fail to get proper placements. The scope or plan for many students is to try and open a new brand or collaborate with other students to create a new brand.

Remarks:

The adminstration of Srishti can actually improve. Another good thing about Srishti will the wellness team. We have proper experienced people here with whom we can share our educational or personal problems and stress. All of this is confidential information and doesn't go out. We are supposed to call our facilitators by their first name only, no Sir or Ma'am. This actually promotes professional behaviour.
