Course Curriculum Overview

The course and subjects included are actually quite comprehensive. Right from the foundation program where they teach you material handling of common materials and drawing till the end year where it is constrained to your department. The course contains a lot of topics covered which enhance your skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for National Institute of Fashion Technology for an academic year varies by semester anand category. For non NRI students, the annual fee is around 2,00,000, including tution fees 1,72,850 per semester, library fees of 11,500 and other charges like medicare, exam and alumni membership fees.

Campus Life

The overall social life at NIFT was pretty great. There are a couple of clubs that you could be a part of like cultural, sports, literary, etc. There is a lot of party culture as well and the social club tries their best with creative ideas of programs. Moreover the juniors and seniors share a great bond as well.

Admission

NIFT is a government college which is top ranked for a design college. Other private colleges like Pearl academy do not even offer a degree and are not that respected in the industry. The entrance exam consists of two parts GAT and CAT. GAT is general aptitude test of maths, English and general knowledge and Cat is to assess your artistic and creative abilities. This is followed by a Situation test to assess your material handling and presence of mind.

Faculty

There are three exams confucted in total. The mid term, end term and end term Jury. The faculties are very subjective some of them are great and very nurturing whilst some are extremely partial and hypocritical. It is not always a good relation with the faculty

Night Life

There is a hostel available just for girls but they are expected to return back by 9.30 pm on weekdays. Hence most people move out after the first year and get their own accommodation like PGs or Flats. There is a canteen which is open till 8.30pm only thus students order out post that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum here feels more practical and idea driven rather than just theory based which was one of the main reasons I chose this course it focuses on design thinking creativity and real execution instead of only textbook learning One of the strongest parts is how it slowly builds your understanding from basics to advanced concepts through projects assignments and presentations this helps in preparing for real world work because you are constantly creating and improving your portfolio rather than just studying for exams The curriculum does prepare you for industry to a good extent especially in terms of creative thinking software usage and project handling but it can improve by including more updated trends real time industry briefs and collaboration with professionals which will make it even more relevant Teaching methods are mostly interactive and practical but sometimes they can include more workshops guest sessions and exposure to current market tools to enhance learning experience Exams are conducted with two internal assessments of around 40 marks each followed by a final semester exam of 70 marks theory and 30 marks practical the difficulty level is moderate if you attend classes and complete your work regularly it is manageable Overall the curriculum is strong in building creative foundation and practical skills but with a few updates and more industry exposure it can become even more effective for future careers

Life at rv university

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Good Quality Designing couse with Economical Fee.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements after the 8th semester, campus selection starts from the 7th semester onwards. Many famous companies hire IIFA students. The college provides 100% placement assistance. most of all the students are placed in one or the other company. I want to become an interior designer and also plan to have my home interior company.

Placement Experience:

After passing seventh semester you are eligible for taking admission in this college. For campus placement your SGPA should be good and your attendance should be high . 70 Percent students get campus placement . I haven't planned yet .

Remarks:

The college is good but it should work more on campus placements and as an industry, its not very high paying income on an average. So maybe as a govt college, NIFT should change its curriculum to be more industry oriented so that students can get higher paying jobs after their graduation.

Ab overview of life at NIFT Bangalore

You become eligible after giving your 12th exams after which you can find the application form on the official website of NIFT when the new admission year begins. The application fees was 2000 rupees. The forms come out around December. I scored 140 rank under OBC category and 700 under the open category. There are reservation benefits for those who qualify under the categories of OBC, GEN-EWS, SC/ST. The exams take place sometime in February. [NIFT], Bangalore - Review

The college is very good and one of the best design and technology college in India. Campus is very large in itself. For taking admission in this or in NIFT college you have to pass entrance exam of NIFT college. Every year in the month of February examination takes place . Once you will get good rank then you can take admission here. Yeah the main reason for preferring this college over other college is that it is combination of design as well as technology. Life at NIFT

Entrance for MFM NIFT takes place in January, we have to go for the written exam here which is in MCQ form , if we clear this, then we have to go for interview around May. If we clear both, we need to get the counselling done around June, and then we get to know the centre we are allotted.
