Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would suggest try department to stop sticking to the syllabus always and try and help the students to try something new and make sure everyone gets opportunities to learn something new. The timeline for exams and submissions are good enough.

Internships Opportunities

5

Provided us with internship opportunities in a garment export house company. Was not offered any stipend, but got a certificate. Faculties supported us with the final fashion show project and also gave 2 opportunities to take part in college fashion events.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fees for the 3 year program was ?2,00,00 and I was offered an scholarship of 20,000 The scholarships are usually offered based on individuals. 1st year fees- 70,000 2nd year fees- 50,000 3rd year fees - 60,000

Campus Life

5

Campus like is amazing, in fact no black point in it. The social life in my department was very different as the students in my class was rigid on having good relationships. Apart from that the social life in overall the college was good. We didn't have and social groups or cultural groups The library is one of the best place to be in as it's Soo peaceful and welcoming

Admission

I chose this college as the fees structure was good compared to other universities and also a college with great environment and infrastructure. I didn't get rejection from any universities, the only issue was the fees structure as it's high for me The admission process is to visit the college and start the application process, wait for the offer letter and proceed with the documentation.

Faculty

2

Faculty and students relationships were not great with everyone. Barely 2 of them were very understanding and supportive, had a rough time with the facilities. Didn't give us the opportunity and support well when we needed. There are 2 FA's for each sem and 1sem exam

Night Life

5

I was not aware of the night life as I didn't stay in hostel or anywhere near my college. I was travelling to my college all the way from 25kms So don't know much about the night life. Heard from other students they had fun

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Course Curriculum Overview:

More than half of the syllabus for FAD deals with hands on experience. This makes us really confident in handling materials and enable applied thinking. This is the very part that drew me into this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated every few years and is very relevant especially when it comes to the new softwares or methods used in the industry. The jury-based evaluation system is very helpful in teaching us how to explain our projects, defend our concepts when they are questioned and it also learn to take constructive criticism. The assignments and exams are planned in a through and systematic manner which makes it easier to handle the submissions in a more orderly way.

The course is affiliated with Bangalore North University. Hence the syllabus is a bit rigid. They teach us beyond the syllabus, which is relevant for the industry. There are workshops conducted on a regular basis to enhance our knowledge.

Placement Experience:

There is some issue in placement, though we get placement the scope for the future through these placements are not that great. Many students fail to get proper placements. The scope or plan for many students is to try and open a new brand or collaborate with other students to create a new brand.

Remarks:

The adminstration of Srishti can actually improve. Another good thing about Srishti will the wellness team. We have proper experienced people here with whom we can share our educational or personal problems and stress. All of this is confidential information and doesn't go out. We are supposed to call our facilitators by their first name only, no Sir or Ma'am. This actually promotes professional behaviour.
