Course Curriculum Overview

3

Not relevant upto the industry needs and market needs it's as relevant to what being taught in all other Indian engineering college weather being Physics Chemistry and Maths. Not relevant to real world markets I think they should taught the stuffs which would make us job ready and industry relevant Exams are held per month exam levels are moderate

Internships Opportunities

5

Texas Instruments internship to almost 12 students while for CSE all major companies offer internship for CSE related branches few students are even offered internship by microsoft phone pe and all and almost most of them end up with some or the other companies

Placement Experience

4

From 3rd year students are eligible for placements and internship opportunities 250 companies visited to the college Highest was something 52LPA by Microsoft and 10LPA Avg for CSE 8.5 for ECE and 5 LPA overall average due to 20 branches college avg is pretty low For top branches 75-80% are getting placed I will be getting into an IT role after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Comedk College Fees -281000 Extra Fees (Library, Examination, Skill Lab Fees)- 32000 Total- 313000 For one year Total for four years- 12,52,000 For KCET Students (Karnataka Home State Quota) Fees per Year-120000 For Four Years-480000 (Approx)

Campus Life

5

Few Fests are Vibrations Furore they are the major fest of college otherwise there are many other small fests taking place time to time Not have idea about exact journals but its one of the biggest libraries in Karantaka Colleges and its in collaboration with IIT KGP Sports ground is there and a stadium with all major sports facilities Lots of clubs are there

Admission

I got this collge because it's situated in Bangalore which itself is an IT hub with lots of exposure and off campus opportunities. Although I got offers from Jaypee Noida Sector 62 and many other private colleges got many rejections from colleges like Thapar and MIT and many more IITs off course and NITs For admission in DSCE you have three options very first through ComedK second through KCET and third way is through Managment Quota

Faculty

3

Faculty is like 1 teacher over 60 students class . Faculties here are quite approachable and they are interactive with students but few of them are very strict . Reshma J our C Programming teacher is good she is quite friendly while for not liking no one is like that to be hated . Talking about exams it is held almost once a month as a CIE total 3 CIE in one semester then we have out end sem examinations

Night Life

4

Curfew timings are 9:30 pm in college hostels rock garden is one or my favourite hangout place in college it's good one gym is only for NRI hostel students Library closing time is also 9pm Few hangout places are like rock garden inside college and outside there are many cafes and malls nearby

Placement Experience:

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

It is very relevant because they not only purely focus on curriculum but they also focus on other activities like Hackathons and different courses so that it would make students industry ready during the course itself

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are very nice since it is an autonomous college the courses have been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the latest technology and the need of the hour. Although the new subjects becomes a little difficult to understand sometimes at the end it's going to benefit us itself .

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
